"Running away again, how ironic."
The figure stopped in the snow. A blizzard had engulfed the forest the two men were in, causing the trees and wind to flow like a hurricane around them as the bright moon illuminated the forest. One man laid down in the snow, battered and bloody. His sword sticking out from the ground next to him. The other man was also battered and bloody but remained standing, holding his ribs with one hand, and having an axe in the other, blood covering the head of it. Both men breathing heavily signifying the fatigue of the battle they had.
"You're a coward."
The figure continued to stand before he kept limping away. The man in the snow grew angrier and began shouting at the other.
"You can run all you want, it doesn't matter how far you'll get, we'll find you!"
The figure kept limping, gaining more distance from the man.
"And when we do, we'll kill everything you love, you hear me?!"
The man kept going and was soon gone from view, cascaded in the blizzard and darkness. The on the floor kept laughing which soon turned to a mix of maniac screaming and crazed laughter.
"You'll never be free, Y/N!"
Y/N jolted from sleep suddenly. He was sweating and panting and had swallow his saliva to calm himself down. Once starting to calm down he cupped his face with his hand and continued to breathe in and out. He threw the covers from on top of him and threw his feet over the side. He placed them on to the cold hard floor. Various scars coated his body with one crossed right over his heart. He stood up showing his shear height and build, each spectacular in their own ways.
He walked over to window and pulled the curtain back revealing a blue sky surrounding an open green field. He put the curtain back as he walked past his bed, grabbing a shirt that was hanging on it and then slipping it on. He paused in placed and looked back to under his bed before shaking his head and continuing.
Y/N opened the door to the outside, the breeze directly hitting him. He had boots on now as well as a farmers hat over his head. He stepped outside and closed the door behind him as he walked off to what looked like a garden. He examined the different vegetables and fruits he had growing and decided on a plant to pick from. He grabbed a basket off the ground and began to pick them.
Y/N walked over to a horse and slung a sack onto the back of it. He pet it before hopping on top himself. He looked towards the far away mountains and reveled in the surroundings. Birds chirping and trees waving were among those things as Y/N began to trot off his horse.
Y/N hopped off his horse in the middle of a bustling village before attaching its lead to a wooden post. The Horse neighed in response and Y/N simply pet it before taking the sack off and walking away with it.
He looked at everyone in the market as they interacted with the vendors, he also saw the town criers promoting different business as well as a couple priests preaching about religious teachings. He ignored all of it and continued to walk.
"How much for the coat?"
Y/N stopped in place and looked at the woman running a clothing stand. He stared at the old woman for a second before speaking up.
"Not for sale."
He then returned his attention ahead of him and continued to walk. Y/N is used to it, but at first, he found it hard to adapt to his new lifestyle. Weh'le, is a small coastal village located on the cliffs on Ionia. Not much ever happens in this town, that's why Y/N loved it when he first came here.
Y/N arrived in front of a general store and walked in. It was empty inside aside from a man that stood at the counter examining a jar of something. He looked up and saw Y/N standing with the sack still slung over his shoulder.
