So basically jj had kissed you, this wasn't necessarily a bad thing you just thought it would throw off the dynamic of the friendship, after you had run off into the surf you watched as jj picked himself up from the beach and walked towards the parking lot technically leaving you, it did make u mad but at the same time u were almost glad because sitting in a car with him after that would have been considered a form of torture so you made the trek home alone in your car watching the headlights illuminate the trees and the street in front of you. Mindlessly singing along to whatever was playing on the radio you looked over at the passenger seat and then to the window where out of the corner of your eye you saw somebody sitting on the curb with their face buried in their hand and shaking u decided to be a decent human being and pull over not getting out of the car and calling out to the figure though the window u had rolled down keeping the doors locked because you weren't stupid the figure broke from their trance and the head snapped up and their eyes locked with yours even in the dull moonlight you could make out who it was Rafe Cameron you unlocked your car doors and jumped out with a thump you marched over to him all while he stared at u with confusion in his face, Rafe Cameron was someone you had heard a lot about but have never actually came in contact with he had a reputation that you were hoping he didn't live up too as u took a seat next to him on the curb you let out a huff.
"Hi rafe" you whisper not expecting him to know who u have you introduced yourself with a swift "in y/n how are u doing tonight".
You turned your head towards him and you could feel his eyes on you as u spoke and gave him a sweet smile he smiled back but it was more of a tired please fuck off the smile you weren't going to give up that easily so you offered him a ride to wherever he was going however when he didn't answer you decide you were going to fuck off so u stood letting out a sigh and walked back to your car turning it on and hearing the engine roar to life u decide you would look back and see if Rafe was still there what u didn't expect was to see him at your passenger window with bloodshot eyes and an apologetic look on his face you can't lie you felt bad for him.
"Get in" once he did you asked him where he wanted you to take him he looked away from you letting out a sentence that u didn't quite catch as he mumbled hmm you said.
Rafe huffed "can you take me to your house"
you were shocked as u barely knew him this was the first thing he had ever said to you and he was asking to stay at your house lots of options jumped into your head but you knew at the end of the day you would end up taking him to your house so that's what you did.
"Ok" you spoke and pushed your foot onto the accelerator and resuming your journey home this time with a little passenger princess.
