Chloe's POV:

I tossed my phone across my bed against my pillow and with a sigh rolled onto my back. Letting my head dangling over the edge of my bed, I was upside down my platinum blonde hair brushed the floor as I closed my eyes.

Another whole day is almost over, and I still have no fucking idea what to give to Zach. It's ridiculous. I never had trouble with it before.

Another sigh escaped my lips and I pressed my hands to my temples, "Come on. This can't be that hard."

At that moment the door to my room swung open and Max, Carla, and Stacy entered. We stared at each other for a moment and while Carla and Stacy just blinked confused Max burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?" I narrowed my eyes at them.

"You." she shot back before tossing herself on my bed and hanging her head beside mine. "What are you thinking so hard about?"

It was kinda harder to focus now. Especially with how weird it looked when her hoodie's hood fell behind her head and framed her as of lately short, and for my taste rather boyish, cut brown hair fanned around a bit.

"Well, Zach of course," I answered like it was completely logical.

"Oh? So you finally accepted the fact that he is a bit of an ass and hanging out with him is more infuriating than anything?" Stacy joked and slumped down leaning her head and back against my bed.

I swear if Carla wasn't here Max and I would jump and strangle this stuck-up bitch. But she was there, and she was Max's girlfriend, so I would play nice. No reason to insult anyone, however.

"Stacy. Will you finally let that rest any time soon?" Carla sighed and leaned against the bed close to Max. "Hey there, pretty."

"Don't mind me hanging out here do you?" Max replied and pecked her lips while still upside down.

"Never," Carla replied with that same lovey-dovey voice.

I turned over onto my belly now and crossed my arms, "I get it you two are cute. Now would someone please help me with the real problem? It's why I called you all in the first place. Well, two of you."

My sideways glance ended on Stacy.

"She was hanging out with me, so I brought her." Carla defended her.

"Fine whatever. I still need help."

"Zach's B-day, huh?" Max asked and I nodded. "Okay. Still unsure about what to give him sunshine?"

I nodded again and hung my head, "I never had trouble finding anything. But he got almost everything anyway. He got a car now. His dad is paying for his driving lessons. He got like a bazillion drawing utensils and clothes and stuff. What do you gift to a guy who is rich enough to buy the world?"

"Technically it's his dad who got the money." Carla corrected.

Stacy rolled her eyes and muttered, "Knowing him just buy yourself some bloody lingerie."

"Not helpful guys," I complained.

Max was closing her eyes now too and thinking, "Well what did you consider before?"

"First I was thinking about like one of those biker vests with the ripped-off sleeves." I started.

Carla listened closely too, "You mean like the one he wore last time when we threw that party over at Mike's place?"

I groaned, "Yes. And there you have the reason why I don't want to buy one. Then I thought maybe I could get him something for the car. Something to make it look more his style."
