It was a Monday morning. A cold breeze could be felt as George made his way through the campus on his way to get the key to his dorm room.
He didn't know anything about his future roommate, not if he already arrived or even his name.

Soon he got his key and made his way to room 184, the room he'll be soon living in for 4 years. He opened the door to locate unpacked stuff on the left side of his room, the person it belonged to was not to be seen though. He decided to unpack his stuff and wait for his roommate to come back from wherever he was.

Around two and a half hours later, while George was playing Minecraft, which he loved to do, he heard a clicking noise coming from the door. He quickly closed his laptop and looked at the person, he will be living with for the next few years.

As the door opened a tall guy with fluffy dirty blonde hair walked in. He had piercing green eyes and was wearing a brown coat. He looked up from the phone he was using to find George sitting on his bed.

"Hello" the dirty blonde said giving George a soft smile. "Hi" George answered smiling back at the tall guy who was moving forwards his bed after he took his coat off.

George had to admit that the dude was pretty hot even though something about him seemed off. He was snapped out of his thoughts when he started to talk again after he sat down on his bed.

"By the way, my name is Clay but just call me Dream and I'm 21 years old," Dream said. "My name is George but just call me George and I'm 22 years old," he said sarcastically before he heard a slight chuckle coming from Dream.

"Why didn't you unpack your stuff yet?" George asked Dream. "I just didn't have time to do it yet because I decided to go and explore the area around here and met some cool people I talked to for a while before I returned here" George just nodded since he didn't know what to say.

"I was just wondering where you are from? You don't sound like you're from the US, to be honest" Dream asked George. "I'm from London. I just moved here for University." Dream was stunned. He was wondering why someone would travel all the way and leave his friends and family behind for university in the US.

"Well, where do you come from?" George asked in return. "I'm from Orlando so not very far away. " George was happy for him that he could visit his family and friends whenever he wants to. Even though he was kind of jealous of him, but he couldn't think about it much longer because Dream was already starting to talk again.

"Well do you have any pets?" "Yeah, I had a cat named Patches before I moved here. I gave her to my family so I can still see her when I visit them" Dream answered smiling. "What about you?" George didn't think asking that through. Obviously, Dream would ask if he had any pets too, why wouldn't he? George was sensitive when it came to talking about his dead cat but he didn't want to lie to Dream so he just said "Yeah, I did have a cat. His name was Luca."  "Did you also give him to your family?" Dream unexpectedly asked. "No" George simply answered

Suddenly he felt tears in his eyes. He didn't want to cry. Not in front of Dream. They barely knew each other. He tried to blink faster but it didn't work. He accepted that he couldn't hold it back anymore and let the tears fall down his face. He was embarrassed, why did he always have to be so sensitive when it came to talking about Luca? He just wanted to be alone in that moment so he rushed into the bathroom and locked himself in there.

Dream was unsure if he should follow George or leave him alone. He felt bad for returning the question. He should've seen George's facial expression and realized that he doesn't want to talk about it. If he wouldn't have asked, they wouldn't be in this situation. He decided to head to the bathroom to check up on George. He knocked on the door, hoping that George would open it. Unfortunately, he didn't, but what did Dream expect anyway?

"George" he said, only getting muffled sobs as an answer.  "Can you please open the door?" he softly asked, hoping that George will let him in. He waited for a short time until he heard the sound of the door unlocking. He was met by George who still had tears rolling down his cheek. It hurt Dream to see George like this, even tho they only met a bit ago.

"Can I hug you?"  he softly asked. Instead of answering with words George just wrapped his arms around Dream. Dream hugged him tightly, still making sure that George isn't uncomfortable. He started slightly swaying them in an attempt to calm George down.

After a short moment, he moved George's arms from his upper body to his shoulders so he could pick him up easier. He gently carried George to his bed and his sobs began to quiet down. Shortly after George fell asleep in Dream's arms. He was unsure of what to do since they only met a few hours ago. He was scared that if he let him go, he would wake George up but he also didn't want to stay in this position and make this awkward.

While thinking of a solution he looked at George's features. He admired the soft-looking pink lips. He thought it fits perfectly with his pale skin with light freckles splattered across it. The color of his soft-looking hair was almost the same chocolate brown as his eyes, well at least he thought so since he didn't get to take close look at George's eyes yet.

After a while, he gently put George in the bed and tucked him in. He didn't bother about waking up early and unpacking because classes would only start next week. After closing the curtains and locking the door he also went to sleep.
