Kaeya opened the door to the lab without knocking- a normal thing for him, as he knows he's the only one allowed to. 

Sucrose jumped where she was standing beside her teacher, knocking whatever experiment the two had been working on. Albedo, on the other hand, was unphased, if not annoyed at the loss of something that'd taken so long. 

"Please do refrain from scaring my assistant," Albedo sighed, grabbing the supplies to clean up the mess that was made. 

Sucrose finished calming herself down before getting on the floor to help her teacher clean.

Kaeya hummed, watching the scene before him, "Any chance we could go to Windrise after you finish cleaning?"

"I can't," Albedo dryly replied, walking by Kaeya without sparing him a glance to grab new materials, "I have to completely restart this experiment since someone interrupted me."

Kaeya watched Albedo walk right by him, his heart breaking a bit at the cold display, "then sometime soon, at least?"

Albedo shook his head, and Kaeya looked at Sucrose for help. She shrugged, motioning for Kaeya to follow her out of the room. Kaeya, confused, followed the woman out of the lab, watching her close the door once they were outside.

"Don't you need to help him?" Kaeya asked, his brow furrowed.

"He won't even notice I'm gone," Sucrose replied, "He hasn't left in days, and won't talk about anything but work."

Kaeya felt his heart break a bit more at that- his lover had really been ignoring him for days because of his work?

"He hasn't said a word to Klee, too. Didn't even acknowledge her," Sucrose continued, "He hasn't noticed Timaeus' not showing up and my coming and going, either."

Kaeya took a deep breath. He could handle being ignored (though only for so long), but for Albedo to not even acknowledge the little girl that practically idolized him? Kaeya nodded in response, thanking Sucrose for informing him of this.

"How about you go take the day off?" Kaeya said, hand on the door to the lab, "I'll try talking to him."

Sucrose nodded, saying her thanks before scurrying off.

Kaeya went back into the alchemy lab, closing and locking the door behind him.

"Hey, Albedo?" Kaeya asked, carefully making his way towards the alchemist.

After no reply, Kaeya sighs, calling his lover's name a bit louder, "Albedo??"

Once again, the only sounds in the lab were the fizzing of whatever Albedo was working and Albedo's muttering as he wrote down his findings in an old notebook Kaeya had given him on their 1 year anniversary.

Kaeya decided he'd had enough and sighed, coming up behind Albedo and wrapping his arms around his waist. He leaned in close, whispering right next to his lover's ear in the deepest voice he can muster, "Albedo. I know you're ignoring me."

Albedo shivered and jumped, clearly not expecting that. Luckily, Kaeya had waited until Albedo had nothing in his hands before he did that so that he didn't drop anything. Kaeya let out a low laugh, holding Albedo steady by his waist, "do I have your attention now, darling?"

Albedo nodded, not trusting his voice at the moment.

"Good, how come you've been ignoring me, hm? So absorbed in your work...don't you think others have missed you?" Kaeya released one of his arms from around Albedo, rubbing up his arm slowly while exhaling against the blonde's neck, feeling him shudder, "Don't you think I've missed you?"

Albedo was unsure of what to do, allowing Kaeya to keep going until one of his hands was on his shoulder. Kaeya grabbed the blonde's shoulder, turning him around to face him, an arm still around his waist. Kaeya gently kissed Albedo's collarbone, delighted at the small gasp he received.

"Haven't you missed me, too?" Kaeya asked, pressing a kiss to his boyfriend's neck after every work.

Albedo nodded, feeling the vibrations of Kaeya's laugh against his neck, "Come on love, use your words for me? You know I love it when you speak."

Albedo felt the blood rush to his face faster, if it was even possible, and whispered in a small voice, "I've missed you too."

Kaeya sucked on a sensitive spot on his boyfriend's neck, earning another quiet gasp, this time laced with the smallest bit of voice. Albedo turned his head away out of embarrassment, but Kaeya was quick to react to this. He stopped what he was doing and rose to his full height, gently grabbing Albedo's chin, forcing him to look up at him. He found delight in the glaze that was already appearing in his lover's eyes, "Show me how much?"

Albedo nodded obediently, Kaeya's hand moving to his shoulder and gently guiding him to the floor, "Get to it, then. And I want your attention fully on me, can you do that sweetheart? Be good for me?"

Albedo nodded, his hands moving to Kaeya's belt, but his eyes trained on the blue haired man wearing a sadistic smirk above him, 

"Then show me just how good you can be."
