My life

Well, my earliest memory is when I was 2. We took a trip to a theme park which is shut down now. It was full of stuff from the Tudors and it was amazing. I remember I watched a show called "The Search For Merlin" or something like that. A man stood on stage and showed us some of Merlin's great magic. He learnt it from Merlin and even got some volunteers to come and help. He didn't pick me, I didn't want to be picked anyway.

Some boy got a table dressing with knifes and jugs on it and stuff like that and pulled it out clean. I've always wondered how to do that. Nothing came along with the table dressing, nothing spilled.

I remember them calling someone in the crowd to tell the crowd when to cheer as when Merlin ever appeared. At the end of the show, Merlin finally came back and she shouted 'YAAY!' with her hands up and everyone else joined in after her.

Now, really, I can't ever remember any other things from my toddler-hood or anything from being 6-8. I've never been able to travel abroad/by plane. I've always been ill. I've had cancer atleast 4 times now. I fought off all of them, but those ones were the ones where I didn't have a massive risk of dying, but the cancer I'm diagnosed with now is I will 100% die. The doctors have never found a cure to this type of cancer. They said only 5 in 1,000,000 people get it each year. I'm one of those unlucky people.

~The first year of high school (middle school if in USA)~

On the first day, I came in with my short, discusting haircut after having to have my head shaved 2 years before. I missed out on revision for my SATs I would have a year after that, but I got exceptions not to do them, so I was afraid the teachers at this school would have low expectations of me.

All the girls at this school either had long hair or extensions. I didn't want hair extensions, I'd rather have my own hair. I used to have beautiful blonde hair which reached all the way to the bottom of my back. I miss that even to this day. I had my hair shaved a couple weeks ago, so I grown my hair back after those years, but it was all a waste.

I had braces and glasses. I didn't want to be that one 'geek girl' in school, but it appeared I was. I would get called 'train tracks' because I had braces and the 'nerd' because of my glasses. My Mother recommended contact lenses to me, and I've had them in before. They irritated my eyes all day.

People called me fat, and I was quite fat then, but ever since the hospital treatment, I've gone as a twig because I've told them to starve me. They still gave me food, but I refused.

I had no friends at that school. No one but the teachers knew that I have been suffering with cancer for my whole life.

"Where are you from?" a boy came and said to me.

I didn't reply.

"Don't be a wuss, all because of your nerdy glasses and your text books you think you're the smartest?"

I again, shook my head.

"Tough." He said, getting my glasses from my face and putting them across the floor. He grabbed my textbooks and skidded them across the floor too. Everyone around us stopped and watched, they were laughing at me.

There was one girl, when the crowd went to their classes and I stood there crying, went to pick up my glasses and text books. She gave me my glasses and I just stood there crying. She put my glasses on my face after I wiped my tears.

"Hey, keep your chin up, kid. And don't let your glasses steam up!" she said. I seen her smile. Her joke made me chuckle a little.

"There's that smile!" she said to me. "Here are your books. It's best if you put them in your bag. I was just like you a couple weeks ago, but I stood for myself and everyone finally backed off. Maybe if you do the same they won't do it to you anymore." she started walking away.
