I agree with the vicious part.
That's precisely what makes it pleasurable.
The disturbing part...I don't think so.
There are many reasons why a person kills.
Revenge.
Anger.
Grief.
I do it for none of those reasons though.
I do it for one cause and one cause only.
Thrill.
