Yuan's POV:

It was just a regular day of school and I had my last period which was arts, after that I knew damn well I had to study after school for exams since next week would be exam week.

Anyway, it was almost time for dismissal and for a hell hole that was waiting for me at home, as usual, I pack my things before heading out of the classroom until someone interrupted my packing, Jacob.

"Yo Yuan" I hear my name in a weird accent making me turn to his direction. "Wanna walk home together?" He usually never asks me this, it'd be one of DA BOYS 🥶🥶🥶. I had a strange feeling in response to that question he randomly asked me, it felt like my heart was skipping a beat. But I simply agreed to his request and finished packing my stuff.

We walked out of the classroom together and I saw one of my friends, Drei, approach me "Yoo what's this bro? Never expected you guys to walk together." He jeered. I was visibly annoyed and kicked his shin which made him groan as Jacob and I continued walking after our encounter.

We were almost out of the gate until it started pouring, I mean POURING. "Oh shit, you got an umbrella on you?" I hear his voice ask me, I check in my bag and luckily I recall my mom telling me to bring an umbrella just in case it rains. So I successfully found it and opened it.

"Let me hold it" Jacob reaches his hand to the umbrella to grab it and we continue walking to the direction of our neighborhood.

It was very awkward for us since we were so close to each other and I somehow felt Jacob's body warmth and damn he was hot (as in temperature I swear)

After 30 mins we finally reached the intersection where we part ways "Well goodbye I guess Jacob." I cackle "Bro, me saying your first name in a weird accent doesn't mean you get to say my name like that." "But, maybe we should do this again. Are you down tomorrow?" I was shocked by his response but I eventually accepted.

I suddenly hear a voice before walking in the direction leading to my house. "Bro, the umbrella." He points at the umbrella he's holding. "You should probably keep it, you don't want your mom to beat your ass for losing this." Jacob chuckles as he hands me my umbrella "OH I almost forgot about it" I laugh to myself for being a stupid ass bitch that just realized he has no brain at all. (dont take that to heart if youre reading this yuan 😈😈) "But you should keep it because you're gonna get drenched in rain water so I'd rather get my ass beaten than get you wet." I hand him the umbrella back while thinking to myself..

what the fuck did I just say? why did I say that? am I mentally stable? whats wrong with me? I said that like I like him naww (in reality he was in denial)

While I was deep into my thoughts, a voice interrupted them which startled me. "Oh uhh thanks, I'll just give it back to you when we meet again." "Ahh no problem" I giggled

"Well see you"

I watched him walk to his house and smiled unconsciously but my mind interrupted my moment by reminding me that it was raining which made me sprint back to my house.
