chapter 2 - First Day At UA!

'Ever since she was a child, she had always been so kind and such a character. Not that she isn't as kind now, no - in fact, she's become even kinder than she was before to most people. But, after Minakami had passed away.. she changed so much - I miss my old Romi...' 

Aashvi thought inside her head while preparing for work.

I had been going to a different hero school, but my mom always wanted me to go to UA - and since All Might and my dad were close friends, I transferred to UA. But, a little through the year, sadly. My mom had helped me prepare, especially with training and how to control my quirk better. but, she had become more mean. Like, tougher on me, I'd say.

A loud bang coming from my door boomed in my ears. "Romi! Get up, I have to leave work early; so you might as well get ready now and then head off to school." my mom said. "okay, jeez. you didn't have to barge in my room like that, though." 

and going early on my first day?! aw, man.. 

"Yeah, yeah. I know. But, it's not like it's gonna be anything new for you, right? and, I gotta get you awake and hyped for the day." ah, I guess she was right. This wasn't gonna be all that new to me, plus - my old hero school was kinda boring... and to make it worse, Kaito went to the same school, in the SAME class; turns out he didn't change one bit. "Anyway, hurry up and get your ass out of bed. I have to get ready, I'll meet you downstairs for breakfast."

I get ready for school, putting on the UA uniform. 'a weird choice of colour theme... It looks kinda good, though.' I thought while inspecting myself in the mirror. I went to the bathroom, touching up my hair or my face; Not that I put on any makeup of some sort, just to make sure that I look decent. I go downstairs, greeted by my mother who progressively looks more tired each day. I felt so bad. I honestly wish there was something I could do. ah, no. I shouldn't be focussing on things like that. 

I eat my breakfast while scrolling through TikTok. My mom left before me, "Good luck, Romi. Don't fail! You'll do amazing, I'm sure of it. I love you, have a good day!" she said as she exited the house "Bye mom, I love you too."

The time was currently 6:38 AM. School starts at 8:15, so I might just go early. I mean, I wanna make a good impression on everyone for my first day. I head out the door 15 minutes after, mainly using that time to prepare myself - hoping that everyone won't be so rude and full of themselves as the people at my academia before were. In particular, Kaito. God, that son of a bitch...

I head out the door and put on the map on my phone for UA. As I'm walking, I see someone wearing the same uniform as me. Huh, maybe they were in my class? they had earphones on, so I just walked behind, relying on a random person hoping that they would 'lead' me to the classroom. I was informed that my class was 1A.

I continue following behind, realizing that we were here. The school was an odd shape, and looked like the letter "H". But oh my god, it was a massive building... I think I'm gonna get lost halfway through the day, man.. 

We enter the building, while I'm still following behind the person in front of me. We walk upstairs, and when we reach, I took a moment to gaze at the scenery outside. It's always so beautiful, especially the sakura trees in the distance with their pink petals dancing through the warm breeze. As I took some time to take in the view, I noticed the person in front of me walk through a huge door. I followed behind, looking up. it read, "CLASS 1A". wow. I guess i relied on the right person then.

I honestly was so excited for school to start, I mean - it already seemed so lively and welcoming, I haven't even been there for half an hour.
