"Where am I?" There was an ache in her body and a foggy memory of how she'd come to be where she was. It was a strange enough occurrence, not waking up in her bed, that Hoops was already wary as she looked around the place. For some reason, in the back of her mind, there was this clue of seeing a giant bug as she staggered out.

Snow, however, was everywhere, a detriment to bugs. Yet, she saw a giant butterfly, making her pause, her body trembling, almost as if she remembered some kind of horror she would rather forget about as the purple-bodied, white-winged creature flew by.

"What have I gotten myself into this time?" Hoops muttered to herself, not seeing Willow, Pete, or Max anywhere near her. She staggered through the snow, shivering, looking for actual shelter, not to mention supplies to survive, when the cry of a creature made her look up in fear.

And then, she stared in awe at the magnificent ice bird fly by, her jaw dropping. For a moment, she forgot she was lost, dumped someplace by someone in an unknown environment, forced to survive again—although she couldn 't remember why she thought of it as surviving again.

Eventually, though, she found herself returning to the reality of looking for shelter, of surviving. She staggered through the snow, growing colder, when someone called out to her, and it was just in time.

She awoke, finding herself in a cabin by the fire, greeted by a strange yellow rabbit with a tail shaped like a thunderbolt. She stroked its head. "Where am I?"

"You're in the Johto region."

"Johto?" She then frowned. "I saw a giant bug."

"Likely a Bug type of Pokemon," the person said.

"Bug type?" she asked, a shudder running down her spine. "And what about the ice bird? The one made from ice?"

"You must be mistaken?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, you must have been seeing things as Articuno is a myth."

"But this is my first time hearing about it."

"How? Where did you come from?"

Hoops opened her mouth yet was unsure how to explain that Pokemon was a foreign concept to her.
