Fred

It should have been illegal for term to start on a Monday at nine. I know it could've been worse, lessons could've started at eight but nine was still way too early for me. Especially since I had been sleeping in until eleven or twelve at the burrow.

I was snapped out of my thoughts as Tilly grabbed my hand and started to pull me up from the table in the Great Hall. We quickly waved bye to our friends as we started towards the muggle studies classroom. She didn't let go immediately but instead pulled me along to the doors of the Great Hall, me trudging behind her sleepily. I had only gotten five hours of sleep after all. Being near Tilly helped with the tiredness though, having her all to myself for one whole lesson was even better. It was the only reason I had chosen muggle studies, to be with her without George for once. It was wrong of me I knew, but I couldn't help being selfish around her. I often thought back to the day George had met her. He had gotten detention because I dared him to answer back in gibberish to Snape in potions. The only reason he had completed the dare was because I had beaten him at wizard chess earlier that afternoon. If I had done the dare it could've been me dating Tilly, not him.

"So Freddie, are you looking forwards to your first class of the day? Tilly asked mockingly, smiling widely at me.

"I think you know the answer to that Black." I answered tiredly but smiling, knowing that she hated to be called by her surname. She always said it drew too much attention to her. I was sure she did that all by herself though, she was just that beautiful.

"Oy! I could just tell everyone what the blackmail that got you to take this class with me is. " She replied cockily, a smug smirk across her lips as she lifted her chin higher into the air.

I sighed slightly, I guess it was good that she hadn't suspected the real reason I had taken the class and I mean the whole blackmail thing was pretty funny. She thought I'd mind people knowing that I had gotten so drunk at the Burrow once that I confused my wand with Percy's and managed to turn myself into a girl. So I had just decided to play along with it.

"Alright, alright miss blackmailer." I laughed as she frowned at me with a grin on her lips. "I'll behave, but only if you do. No more nicknames Tilly." I leaned down and whispered to her.

She stopped in her tracks standing in the middle of the hallway, about to open her mouth to protest when I grabbed her hand and pulled her forwards with me. I took her by such surprise she couldn't even get a word out but just followed me. I couldn't lie, holding her hand felt good. I had to keep reminding myself that I shouldn't feel this way, that she was dating my brother but once again I couldn't help it. We walked a little while, chatting about courses and the Triwizard tournament before she stopped talking and went quiet for a minute.

"You know I can walk by myself, you don't have to hold my hand. " She stated nonchalantly. looking up at me with a small smile and that goddamn irresistible twinkle in her beautiful dark brown eyes.

"Alright, go on then, if you're so sure." I joked and let go of her hand somewhat reluctantly.

As we walked together she started talking to me about something, I nodded along but I truly couldn't tell you what she had said to me. I was too busy admiring her. How her long wavy black hair seemed to float behind her as she walked, her dark brown eyes sparkling with a gleam she always had if she was happy, those goddamn freckles covering a cute button nose and of course her sweet lips . I had thought about all of this a million times before, but I knew I wasn't the only one admiring her. As we reached the muggle studies classroom I had already noted about ten different guys who had all eyed her up as she walked past them.

I held open the door to the classroom letting her walk in first, bowing slightly which made her laugh. Godric, that laughter. This girl was going to be the death of me.
