(your perspective)

So many years, I've admired Reigen Arataka's insight into the spiritual realm. He's an amazing psychic. I can only imagine what he's like in person. I find myself often thinking about him. My friend calls me crazy for liking him. Like I've got some kind of big "celebrity crush" they say. Oh well, it's not like they're wrong. I mean look at me. I'm riding into town today to try and find him! I've only heard rumors about him and his apprentice taking down urban legends and saving people. I hope he can help me with my psychic powers too.

I lift myself up from my seat and shift a bit over so I could look out the window behind me. it's beautiful today. There's a nice breeze pushing those big clouds in the distance. I see people walking around and it's looks alive in the city.

I finally get to my stop and grab my back pack and quickly make my way out of the door. I walk down through the crowd and to the gates. I pull out my card and exit right into the busy street. I stop to the side and take a deep breath. "I made it." I whisper to myself.

I start walking down the street and begin to ask some of the small vendors if they ever heard of Reigen Arataka Psychic Professional. Not really anyone could give me a real detail on where was his office. I was becoming more and more lost. I felt almost desperate trying to find him.

I look up at the sky and I see the sun slowly setting. I walk up to one more lady as she was cleaning up her store stand.

"Excuse me, Miss?" I say smiling and waving at her.

"Yes?"

"Do you know who or where I could find Reigen Arataka?" I say hopefully.

"Oh that crazy psychic man, he's probably at that ramen shop on the corner down there." She pointed at the store that was down the road.

"Thank you so much." I say while leaving.

"You're welcome dear." she says smiling at me.

I walk away and make my way down. I walk in and begin looking around at all of the faces. No luck. I take a seat at the counter and buy myself a meal. I might as well get some dinner before I turn in for the night. As I get my food I hear some more customer behind me walk in. This place is getting crowded. I try to hurry up and eat so I go lie down. I'm getting to tired. This day was a comp-

"Oh, my apologies but you see what happened was my apprentice here got a bit out of hand and caused me to bump into you-"

That voice. I turn around and there he is. Reigen Arataka. Rambling on about how it was somebody...else's...fault?

"But you're the one that hit me. Why are you blaming your-" I look to his side and there's a MIDDLE SCHOOLER. My jaw slightly drops. "Your apprentice is a middle schooler?!"

"Hey I don't discriminate. This poor soul just wanted to learn from me." He says gesturing to the kid.

"Master, this person is a-" the boy starts to say.

"Not now Mob, I'm about to teach this person a very valuable lesson."

"But-" he tries to chime in again.

I shake my head in shock. "Reigen Arataka." I say still happily surprised it was him.

"Huh? How do you know my name? Are you a psychic?"

"Actually, yes I am. My name is Y/N." I say surprised he noticed my abilities.

"Mob why didn't you tell me these things immediately? I told you to alert me, so we can keep your skill sharp."

"Sorry Master Reigen."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Reigen Arataka." I say practically jumping out of my seat to shake his hand. "You know me?" He said kind of dazed.

"Of course I look up to you so much. You're my role model. In fact I was trying to find you all day."

We sit down and they order some food. We talk on and on about psychic abilities and how I was excited to find him. I get introduced to the boy. He is a middle school student. His name is Shigeo Kageyama. Although he said I could just call him Mob like his master.

"I've been wanting to ask you if its okay if I could study under you?" I say nervously.

"Study under me?" His face lit up and he looked almost pleased.

"Yes, if that's okay with you." I say hopeful.

"Of course, I'll show you my office and then I'll have you come in tomorrow for a little test run to see if you can handle the work."

"Great! Thank you so much!" I see his cheeks blush a little and he hurriedly looks away back to his food. "No Problem Y/N." I hear him quietly say to me.

It almost felt like was just me and him in that moment. This day did get better. I finally met him. The man I've dreamed about. Now I get to interview to work for him. And he's going to show me his office.

"Master, if you don't mind I'll be getting home now, before the trains all leave." Mob spoke up.

"Of course Mob, I'll see you tomorrow after school."

We both wave him off. Strange. I never thought his famous apprentice would be a little kid. I could tell he had psychic abilities. There was this power to him. A strange feeling. What an interesting kid, no wonder Reigen has him as an apprentice.

We get up to leave after paying for our meals and head out the little restaurant. I follow his lead down the side of the road. We walk in silence. I really get to take him all in. He really is charming. Maybe it's the moonlight or the atmosphere he carries. He's just mesmerizing to watch. The way he walks with confidence. My eyes were glued to him. Then suddenly he stops while I'm in a trance and I walk right into him.

"Right here will do, you know." he says pointing to the small office hidden away down a little sidewalk. There's a tiny sign hanging by the door that says 'Reigen Arataka Psychic Help Professional'. It has a small little charm to it. I didn't realize I was still holding myself against him. I quickly take a step back.

"I'm sorry I was just looking." I say with my red face trying to clam myself down.

"Uh yeah, Well come on let me quickly show you around."

We walk up to the door and he opens it and flicks the light on. "Well this is pretty much it. To find it just take a right at the ramen shop and its just two blocks down. Other than that I should be here so just come on in and I'll set you up at this desk for the day." He clears his throat and turns to me. He keeps on talking but I don't hear anything. His pictures on the flyer I had was nothing compared to seeing him in person. His hips were so slim and his long narrow legs. I couldn't help but think about having them up on my shoulders while I-

"Hello? Y/N? Anyone home?" I snap back to reality and my eyes widen. He's so close.

"Yes!?" I manage to respond.

"I thought I lost you there. Anyways I'll let you head out to get some rest. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay." I say nervously smiling.

We split ways outside while he locks up the office again. I smack my face with my hands trying to pull myself together. I head out and walk over to a nearby hotel to stay the night. I make it up to my room and lay out on my bed. I definitely need to focus tomorrow.
