"Come on, Vada. I've arranged for Enid to take our place during beekeeping so that we can go into the woods and investigate the scene." Wednesday says as she walks over to the girl sitting at the fountain. Vada looks up and nods shortly.

"How did you do that?"She asks. "Enid is terrified of bees."

"She's taken a particularly strange liking to Thing. She made me apologize to Thing for not seeing him as a person. It was actually quite easy." Wednesday informs. Vada's brows furrow. "But he's a hand.." She says.

"Precisely what I said." Wednesday almost smiles. "Enid doesn't see it like we do, apparently." She says as the two make their way into the woods.

Wednesday begins to search the ground for any evidence of the attack. Vada separates a little for good measure. "I'm not seeing anything, Wens." Vada points out.

Wednesday takes a quick glance at her. "Wens?" She questions and crosses her arms as she heads towards a large oak tree.

Vada shrugs. "Wednesday is kind of a mouth full, ya know? I mean, it's better than calling you Day.. or Nessie." She teases. Wednesday rolls her eyes simply.

"I'll settle for Wens." She informs calmly, moving around as she moves leaves slightly with her boots.

Vada nears a large tree, using her shoe to slightly move a plant to the side, looking for blood and such. The two girls hear a dog bark, barely able to make eye contact before Vada is grabbed from behind.

Wednesday's eyes widen but she has no time to rush to her aid as she hides herself behind a tree a few feet away. Vada's eyes are wide as a large hand clamps over her mouth to keep her silent.

Wednesday peeks around the tree and sees the Sheriff walking a dog around. She glances towards Vada and furrows her brows when she sees Tyler.

The Sheriff passes by completely, all three of the teens going unnoticed. Vada lightly shoves away from the person holding her, looking confused when she sees Tyler.

He's quick to put his hands out in defense. "Sorry.. I just didn't want Elvis to pick up on your guys' scent." He explains quickly as Wednesday makes her way over to the two.

"How did you throw them off?" Wednesday asks calmly, keeping her eyes on Tyler suspiciously. Tyler reaches into his pocket and reveals a plastic baggie of coffee grounds. "One of the perks of being a part time barista."

Everyone stands awkwardly before Tyler speaks again. "You must think it's weird that I'm stalking him.." He starts.

"I consistently stalk my parents." Wednesday counters and begins to walk away. Vada looks at Tyler silently before beginning to follow the girl.

"Hey, what actually happened the night of the festival?" Tyler asks as he follows the two. "I won't tell my dad anything."

Vada rolls her eyes. "How nice of you." She comments calmly, continuing to walk. Wednesday sighs.

"I thought Rowan was in danger. I was wrong. He proceeded to try and use his telekinesis to choke me to death.. Vada intervened and got thrown into a tree. Then a monster comes and guts him in front of us." She explains with a straight face.
