In a forgotten part of Equestria, a pair of ponies were destined to meet.
For Cloud, a blue pegasus with a shooting star cutie mark, it only took one look at the unicorn Sunshine, a white stallion with three suns as a cutie mark, to know that her life was about to change forever.
The two first laid eyes on each other at their first day of astronomy class. After that day, it took three years of playing hard to get, dating, and falling in love before the two of them were finally to be wed.
The wedding was a wonderful event, the two lovingly declaring to be with each other for as long as they lived. Their families celebrated, knowing that they had found a soulmate with one another. It wasn't too long after before Cloud would estatically declare that she was, in fact, pregnant.
The soon-to-be parents were overflowing with joy at the news, planning every detail that they could to ensure the safety of their foal. They had decieded to wait until the birth to see what kind of pony the foal would be, and to see if they were a boy or a girl. After nine months of questioning, name-finding, and doctor's appointments, it was time for the mare to give birth.
Cloud gave birth to a healthy girl foal. The parents cooed at the little one, welcoming her into the enchanted world. Their joy, however, would soon turn into shock and questioning.
How could this be?
How could their little girl have been an alicorn?

Hai! I have decided to rewrite the stories I have posted onto here and start it with a clean slate, which led me to accidentally deleting the first chapter completely. So here we are again!
