Aether X reader
I'm laying on Aether's chest trying to fall asleep. I have really bad insomnia and I haven't slept in two days, so Aether has made it his mission to make me fall asleep. He puts his hand in my hair and gently messages my scalp.
Aether-"Are you at least sleepy yet?"
Y/n-"Nope."
Aether sighs and moves his hand to my back running his nails up and down it.
Aether-"Maybe some tea would help.. or like a warm bath or something."
Y/n-"I don't know usually when I get like this I just wait until I pass out from exhaustion."
I can see the worry grow on Aeth's face.
Aether-"Well you're not doing that this time. I'm gonna find a way."
Y/n-"Whatever you say."
He sighs again and sits up. Then he grabs me and stands up with me in his arms. I start laughing
Y/n-"W-What are *laughs* you doing?!"
He looks down and smiles at me then gives me a quick kiss. He carries me out of the house and to his car then sits me the passenger seat, buckles my seat belt, and kisses the top of my head. He get in the drivers seat and starts the car.
Y/n-"Where are you taking me I'm in my pajamas and I look like shit."
I whine, he puts his hand and on my thigh and starts to back out of the driveway.
Aether-"First off you look beautiful, second I'm not taking you anywhere we're just gonna drive around. When my sister was a baby and she wouldn't go to sleep my mom would put her in the car and drive her around, it worked every time."
Y/n-"Aether I love you and this is very sweet but I'm not a baby."
I cross my arms. He just laughs and starts to draw little circles on my thigh with his thumb.
Aether-"Trust me my love. Lay back, close your eyes, and relax."
I roll my eyes, but do what I was told. I close my eyes and focus on Aether's hand, after about a minute I was asleep. When Aether notices he chuckles and turns the car around to go home. When we get there Aether gently picks me up and carries me inside. He lays me on the bed and covers me up. He kisses my forehead and whispers
Aether-"Goodnight my little baby."
