Hirose hurried home when the bus reached the school, waving a quick goodbye to the team. When she got home, she found that her parents weren't home yet, so she sent a quick text to her mom saying that the boys had won the game. Luckily, she'd remembered to tell her mom that morning that they were playing today, not that Keiko would really be mad if she'd forgotten.

Searching through her cupboards and fridge, as usual, there were tons of food, though they would definitely need to pick up meat at the grocery store the next day.

First, Hirose took out all her ingredients, and some leftover appetizers and snacks, before starting to make curry, which was the easiest thing to make for such a large group.

Hirose had put all the ingredients in and changed into more comfortable clothes before anyone showed up. Unsurprisingly, Hinata arrived first, along with Tanaka, since Hinata didn't have enough time to go home and Tanaka wanted to 'savour every moment in a pretty girl's house'.

"I'll get some of our guest clothes and a toothbrush for you before we go to sleep, Hinata." Hirose reassured the nervous ginger boy.

After the first two boys arrived, the others quickly started to trickle in, gathering in the kitchen while Hirose finished cooking. Daichi and most of the others gawked at the size of the house. Many of the boys snacked on the leftovers Hirose had put out (Tadashi seemed scared to touch anything for fear of breaking it) while Kiyoko, whom everyone had been surprised to see show up, helped out with the cooking.

As they cooked, both Hirose's parents showed up.

"Smells good, Noriko!" Her dad called to her as he entered the house, walking to the kitchen. "Nice to meet you kids, take good care of my Riko, alright?" He glared them all down.

The boys nodded solemnly, taking in the stern-faced, grey-eyed man. Though Noriko resembled her mother most, the colour of her hair was just a shade darker and warmer than her father's dirty blond and something in their calm resting facial expression was similar, so unlike Keiko's constantly 'on' social skills.

"Don't scare them, Dad, you couldn't hurt a fly." His daughter retorted, rolling her eyes. "Besides, it's not polite to treat guests that way."

Haru laughed, shaking his head. "You're just like your mother. Speaking of, she's dragging me to a party tonight. It's my weekly quota. We'll be back sometime between midnight and two, that is if I can convince her to leave."

Kageyama muttered to Noriko under his breath, "I told you your mom was a party girl."

Haru burst out laughing, having heard the comment. "You're not wrong, but don't let her hear you say it like that. I knew there was a reason I liked you, Kageyama." Kageyama blushed, realizing he was overheard. "Anyways, there are drinks in the fridge if you want any, just don't take anything from the wine cellar and I'd prefer it if no one puked. Noriko, you know where everything is."

"You're ok with us drinking, sir?" Daichi wondered.

Haru nodded. "I was about as well-behaved as a high school student gets at your age, and even I was getting drunk all the time. I'd rather you guys do it in the house safely than have to drive somewhere I don't know to pick up my puking daughter."

Noriko scoffed. "As if I would ever get blackout. I know when to drunk, and also, I'm definitely a classy drunk."

"You've never been drunk enough to really know, so you could be a sloppy drunk for all we know." Haru pointed out.

Noriko glared, folding her arms over her chest. "You better be joking."

Haru laughed. "Really just like your mother."

The volleyball team watched the interaction interestedly as Keiko entered the room, dressed in a blue cocktail dress to match her husband's tie.

"Oh, the boys are all here! And you must be Kiyoko, dear. For those of you who haven't met me, I'm Keiko, Riko's mom. Make yourselves at home, and there's a list of emergency numbers on the fridge if anything happens, but I trust Riko will be on top of things." Riko's mom introduced, waving a perfectly manicured hand to the team, before pulling her husband out the door to their car.

"Your parents are..." Daichi started.

"Irresponsible?" Tsukishima suggested. Noriko threw a bread roll at his head before looking to the side not-so-subtly.

"Uh, I think you mean AWESOME, Tsuki!" Tanaka exclaimed, with wild hand movements.

"Thanks, Tanaka." Taking a sniff of the curry and feeling its texture with the wooden spoon, Noriko concluded that dinner was ready. "Dinner's about ready, so you guys can head to the table and I'll bring the food out."

"We can help, if you want." Suga suggested.

Noriko looked at him as if he had grown an extra head.

"Don't bother trying. Hirose's got some obsession with proper host manners, so we won't get dinner for another hour if you try to argue with her." Kageyama pointed out. Noriko nodded in confirmation, already starting to fill some plates with food.

The boys and Kiyoko reluctantly went to the table, and Noriko grabbed two of the serving trays they usually used for parties, looking back at Kageyama to smile gratefully. He flushed, and quickly took his own seat in the dining room.

Within the minutes, Noriko had piled about half the filled plates on the trays, even putting a plate on her head, and balanced the two trays on both arms before carrying them in, her perfect posture stopping any spillages from happening.

"Woah, that's so impressive, Hirose!" Hinata yelled out. "Teach me how to do that!"

Noriko laughed as she handed out plates. "Maybe another day, Hinata." After bringing in the rest of the plates, she looked around the room and asked. "Does anyone want anything to drink? Water? Beer? Sake? A cooler? Anything else?"

The boys exchanged some uncertain glances. "We're really not gonna get in trouble for drinking?" Tadashi asked.

Noriko shrugged. "Not from my parents at least. If your parents are strict, then you can decide how much of a hangover you'll be able to hide from them. Up to you whether or not you want to."

"I'll have a beer!" Tanaka announced. "It's the manliest drink out there!"

Noriko chuckled as the other boys started yelling in orders, mostly wanting beer.

"I'll have whatever you're having." Kiyoko told her.

"Is sake alright then?" Noriko clarified. Kiyoko nodded her head, and the caramel blonde went to fetch everyone's drinks, thanks to the trays only needing one trip.

"And your parents are really fine with this?" Ennoshita asked again.

"Her parents are always like that, they don't really care about that stuff." Kageyama said, shrugging and opening his own can of beer suspiciously. The others followed suit.

Noriko had already poured herself and Kiyoko small glasses of sake, and thus the night began.
