Self Aware Bitch - Anna Sofia (put it on loop)
Destiny smirked at her game knowing you had a hatred, but you called it taking a disliking to heroes. Austin wasn't aware so he only assumed it was from excitement. He then smiled wide and nodded frantically like a kid saying yes to a lollipop. "Yes ma'am. This isn't professional, but I am a fan of Deku." He fake whispered as if to make it seem confidential.
You poked your cheek swinging your feet up on the desk with a clink from your heels. Instead of throwing a fit and rampaging out the office for the rest of the week, you simply turned to your assistant and said, "Thank you Austin. I'll call if I need you."
Before he shuffled off he grabbed something form his pocket. A necklace. Destiny glanced over and her snarky little smirk grew wider. You stared at it in question.
"For your birthday." He whispered. The thought passed his mind to help you put it on, but he knew better.
You gave a quick half smile before nodding him a thank you as he nodded back and lingered to stare a you for a seconds longer then quickly turned on his heel and walked off. You had your eyebrows scrunched as he made it down the hallway and around the corner. Sighing, you turned towards your computer resting your feet back on the floor and scooting forward. You took the necklace in your hands before putting it in the drawer with the rest of the gifts he's given you.
You appreciated his gifts and never take his kindness for advantage, because good people come and go so fast. Now, while all that is true, you weren't feeling Austin the way he was feeling you. Wearing any ring or necklace he got you would make him think otherwise.
Destiny speedily slid over to your side in her wheelie chair. She dressed the same as you, but was definitely more... shapely. You were happy and proud of the body you worked for almost every day. Though you did admire her body, respectfully of course. Her blonde hair curled and stopping at her mid back, she smelled of Chanel and some how smelled of the emotion... cheery. Her eyelashes were prominent and long and her lipstick vibrant, bringing out her bright white smile.
"He's so into you." She nudged your shoulder with a grin looking you up and down and began to mock him. "Yes ma'am, anything you want, what can I do for you, whatever you need." Destiny's mocking turning to pants and fake moans.
You pushed her chair out the way laughing while you shook your head. "Stop you're going to draw attention."
"You're the one who's drawing attention, a shiny new necklace and my god look at how gorgeous you look for waking up late." Turning back to her computer side eyeing you with a slight grin.
Your eyebrows scrunched staring at her in shock and some fear, but you forgot her quirk was making crazy good guesses. What you were thinking or what you said in a conversation a long time ago, or that you ate for breakfast. 9/10 times it was always right. But she could only make three to five guesses a day, and even then they became less accurate the more guesses she guessed.
You just scoffed with a smile going to work which is what you were there for. Lunch wasn't in another hour or so and you were practically starving.
...
Mid lunch is when the commotion officially came in, people switching seats to sit with friends and giggle about the heroes. Then Men freshening up ready for the female heroes. Destiny stood with her other blonde friends judging one another of their type.
You ate the bit of your food before wiping your face clean. A group of obnoxious men, who you tried your very hardest to stay away from, only because the were the sexist part of the office. You pulled cherry Chapstick from your purse applying it to your lips in one motion to both top and bottom. Deciding to pull your hair back which was the last thing you planned to do before getting up you could see in the corner of your eye some men looking your way.
