Diamonds and Gold

Chapter 1

Sunday 12:31am

"WHERE THE F*CK YOU AT TRIFLING HOE!" he yelled as he busted in our room looking for me. 

I sat in the closet quiet as a mouse hoping that he wouldn't come in and beat me. This is a usual thing for me because he was a alcoholic , but today it was worser than ever. I let out small breathe every 2 minutes and then I stopped when I saw the knob on the closet door turn. Next thing I know I was being thrown on my bed with him hovering over me.

" Let me explain something to you. When I walk through that door you drop everything you doin, and tend to me and my needs instead of running your mouth with them bitches that you be on the phone with!" "Do you understand." I just laid there not knowing what to say but I needed to think fast or it was my ass. Not even a good 3 seconds went by and he started to back up. I'm so glad that my water didn't break from all this excitement, not to mention I'm 9 months pregnant and my due date is in exactly 2 days. He kept yelling in my face and then I did the unthinkable. After 2 years of this, I finally grew some of balls, slapped the shit out of him and ran. I have to leave before my child is born or I might die before she is. As I was running I heard foot steps coming after me. I turned and saw him. I ran into the kitchen and grabbed the first set of keys I saw and ran out the back door.

I ran as fast as I could. I looked at the keys as I was running and saw they were the keys to my benz. GREAT! I filled it up this morning, so I won't have to make no stops and risk being taken back to that hell hole.

I finally got to the car, jumped in the front seat and started it up. I was about to back up until I noticed his car blocking me. At this point I didn't even care, I just wanted me and my unborn child to be safe. So I did what any other person would do I drove through the front lawn onto the street. I ain't one of those bitches that was gunna sit there in the car and get my ass beat. As I drove down the road I had to think of a place for me to go and I only could think of  one person.
