Unexpected Surprise

**The Next Day**:

The next day Dean and Seth decided to tell Eddie and Will, they could use all the help they could get to pull this off. The next afternoon while Roman was gone to the gym, they told the couple about their plan; Seth throughout their conversation continuously pointed out that it was all Dean's idea! Like Seth, the couple were very unsure about the whole thing, but like he had done with Seth, Dean was able to convince them to help. They decided to have Eddie and Will keep Roman busy after his workout, while Dean and Seth cooked and set everything up.

Later on that afternoon, while Seth helped Dean cook he secretly hoped this wouldn't somehow blow up in their faces! He watched Dean singing softly to himself as he cooked, Seth smiled, he felt so much love for Dean, but Dean doing this for their brother made Seth's love grow even more! Dean looked over at Seth and smiled as he winked, before he turned back to the stove and continued to cook.

"I love you Dean." Seth said still starring at Dean, Dean looked at him.

"I love you too baby boy! You okay?"

"I'm fine, I...I just wanted to remind you." Seth answered smiling.

"Save the mushy stuff for the bedroom!" Dean said smirking, as he winked at Seth. "We've got dinner to make!"

"You got it Cupid!" Seth said smiling, as he saluted.

Later that evening, everything was ready and everyone was at the house; except Emily. Roman had been suspicious all afternoon, Eddie and Will showed up at his place after his workout and after hanging out they got ready to leave for dinner. As they did the couple had told Roman he needed to get dressed in nice, but not fancy clothes, instead of their regular stuff. He was confused and asked what was going on, but no one would tell him anything, and so after the 15th time trying he gave up. He forgot about what was going on, too busy spending time with his loved ones, until dinner was ready. It was put on the table, but no one moved to go eat. He watched as Seth, Eddie and Will looked at Dean, who looked nervous. Feeling Roman's eyes on him, Dean turned to Roman and smiled. After this went on for another five minutes Roman had had enough! Roman stood up and went to speak, but before he could the doorbell rang and Dean quickly went to answer it.

"You made it!" Dean said smiling, as he opened the door.

"I did, sorry I'm late! I couldn't get out of work!" Emily apologized.

"Don't worry about it, stuff happens! Come on in, you look great by the way!"

"Thanks Dean, so do you!" Emily said blushing, as she followed Dean into the living room.

"Everyone, our guest is here!" Dean announced smiling. "You all remember Emily right?" He asked, as he went and stood beside Seth.

"Of course we do Deanie! You took such wonderful care of our Rommie!" Eddie said hugging Emily, Dean of course took that in a dirty way and began to laugh quietly, Seth smiling hit Dean in the stomach to shut him up, Roman glared at him wanting to kill Dean!

"Are you okay Dean?" Emily asked, she didn't see the exchange between the brothers, only heard Dean's grunt and saw him bent over holding his stomach.

"He's fine, aren't you babe?" Seth asked smiling, as he rubbed Dean's back.

"Yep, I'm fine!" Dean agreed, as he looked at Seth angrily before he stood up straight. "It's great Emily could come isn't it Ro?"

"Uh, yeah! It's nice to see you outside of the hospital!" Roman agreed.

"I was really looking forward to this!" Emily said shyly.

"Let's eat, I'm starving!" Dean announced suddenly feeling the awkwardness in the room.

The rest of the evening went well, at dinner Dean made sure Emily sat beside Roman. During the meal, and after as they all sat around talking Dean kept trying to push Roman and Emily together. He tried to keep the conversation focused on them, Roman knew what Dean was doing, and even though he loved Dean for trying to help, he wanted him to stop! By the end of the evening everyone had gotten to know Emily and all nine of them liked each other; Emily got along with each of them and even joined in on their jokes. Roman was happy, even though Dean had been sneaky in setting all of this up, Roman was glad he had knowing he would never have done it himself. He didn't want the night to end, but it soon did and he offered to walk Emily to her car and she accepted. Roman helped her on with her coat, and waited while she said her goodbyes, before they went outside, he was so nervous as they walked the short distance to her car.

"I had a wonderful time tonight Roman! Thank you for inviting me." Emily said smiling.

"I did too, I'm glad you could come!" Roman replied smiling.

"Your family loves you very much, I can tell!" Emily said gently.

"I love them very much too, they mean everything to me!" Roman said smiling. "I'm happy you got along with them, not many people understand them; especially Dean!"

"Ah, yes Dean! He's the one who set all this up you know." Emily told him.

"Yeah, I figured it out. I'm sorry, he means well, he just has no filter!"

"Don't be sorry, I really like all of you guys; especially you!" Emily said touching his arm.

"Really? Cause I really like you too Em! Would you like to have dinner with me tomorrow?" Roman asked shyly.

"I'd love too! I have a day off tomorrow, so maybe we could hang out with your family, then go?" She suggested knowing how close Roman was to his family.

"That would be awesome!" Roman agreed smiling.

"I'll put my numbers in your phone, and you can call me tomorrow." She said smiling, as Roman took out his phone and handed it to her. "There!" She said handing it back.

"I'll call you in the morning." Roman said smiling, as he put his phone away.

"I can't wait!" Emily said smiling, before she kissed his cheek. "Goodnight Roman."

"Goodnight Em, drive safe!" He replied, as he opened her door for her.

She got in and with one last wave she drove away. Roman waited until he couldn't see her anymore, before smiling he turned and went back inside.
