𝐘/𝐍'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

How long has it been since we've been held prisoner? Hours, days? Dehydration and starvation caused significant sickness to run through my body. I feel...disgusting.

I laid my hand against the cold stone wall. I closed my eyes, The thought of Dottore ran through my mind, until he was washed away by a dark red magic source.

A portal ripped itself openly into my cell. Bright red, resembling the blood of Teyvat's people. It grumbled and groaned as its opening attempted to remain open.

A girl stood on the other side of the portal. I couldn't make out her appearance, only the wolfish but slightly confused smile on her face.

I opened my eyes instantly. The portal was gone and the girl was gone. I shook my head rapidly. What was that? The door to my cell opened, rattling against the wall. Two guards walked inside. They said nothing as they approached me. My Gnosis hissed and I stumbled back. One of the guards grabbed my arm roughly and I winced. The second guard undid my restraints and threw them to the side.

"Where are you taking me?" I hissed through my teeth. They refused to respond. They hauled me out of the cell and up the stairs. I saw the remaining dungeon, multiple cells laid back to back.

Light burned itself into my irises and I shut my eyes closed. After what felt like years of walking, we stopped and I was thrown into a bedroom. I crashed against the floor and hissed. I ran to the guards but the door slammed in my face. I screamed and banged on the door.

"OPEN THE DOOR, YOU COWARDS." I hissed out.

Ice crawled up the walls. They melted away instantly and I turned around. Two young women, entirely made out of fire, stood side by side. They said nothing.

"Your Grace," The first girl spoke softly as they both bowed in unison. "Grand God Alfonse has asked you to get ready."

"Grand God." I scoffed at the name.

"That is what our lady calls him," The second girl whispered. I raised an eyebrow. "She doesn't want to though." Both flame girls looked at each other. Then they turned their heads towards me and smiled softly. "Shall we start? We can turn normal if you wish, Your Grace."

"You don't have to because I'm not doing whatever he asks." I turned my back to them and tried opening the door. Locked. Fucking bastards.

I turned around. "Your Grace, we could tell you what's going on if you agree to listen." They both whispered in unison. "But first, we are not alone." The first girl whispered, her eyes scanning the room.

The fire around the two girls turned to mist and they turned human. Beautiful young ladies dressed in elongated ballgowns drenched in the vibrant colors of Natlan. Both girls had their hair tightened in braids. Twins.

The first twin dug her hand over the sleeve of her wrist and a dagger made of hardened obsidian appeared. She tugged on it and flicked it towards the wall. It stopped midair and water sprayed across the wall. Soon it was replaced by blood and the body of a young male fell to the floor, causing a loud thud.

The girl smiled and retrieved her weapon, while her twin got a dark blue fabric out of the closet. I watched them slowly.

"Lady Lysithea talks about you, often." The first twin spoke as she cleaned her blade. "You seem very important, your grace." The second twin filled in for her.

"Who are you two?" I demanded and the second twin held the fabric to my body.

"Natlan's highest level of spies, your grace." The first twin smiled. "We work within our lady's court." I tilted my head slightly.

"And how can I trust you, Hm? Two fire twins working for my enemy." I hissed.

"We wish no harm for you or your nation, your grace." The second twin snapped her fingers and a dark blue dress appeared in her hands.

"Oh? Should say that to your whore of a lady." I hesitantly let them work on their transformation.

"Why are you working with Alfonse?" I hissed out his name like venom.

"We have no choice, your grace." The second twin frowned. "He does not like people from our nation." Confusion ran through my body.

"Because people from our nation do not look like him, he chooses to target us first." Sadness ran through her voice. The first twin held my hands and a small paintbrush appeared in her grasp.

"Our homeland has stronger people than his armies, but we choose not to attack. Our lady is the strongest living Archon and she hides behind a broken veil. Alfonse is second, if they were to fight, Teyvat is done for." The second twin tied the ends of my dress behind my neck.

"Snezhnaya is home to anyone who wishes to be there..." I whispered. "You two are welcome into the cold." I smiled hesitantly. My body flinched when the paintbrush trailed across my arms.

"What are you doing?" I turned my gaze to my arms. Small blue snowflakes coated my laced arms.

"That means...a lot to us, your grace." The first twin pulled the brush back and held my other arm.

"What are your names?" I whispered.

"Draheia." The first twin smiled, and the second twin followed suit. "Neuila."

They both turned to the door and quickly turned back into the flamed forms. The door opened slightly. My Gnosis screamed.

"A-Are you done, your grace?" Whispered an unknown voice. Your grace thing is very annoying.

Neuila and Draheia turned to me. "Uh...yes?"

Sylvan walked in hesitantly. He was dressed in a dark purple yukata, electro sigils ran across his sleeves. His cheeks reddened when his eyes landed on me.

"Your grace...A-Alfonse has tasked me to..."He swallowed as the blush became very very noticeable. The twins held in their snickering. "e-escort you..."

"Thank you but I can find my way there, thank you though." I walked past him and rolled my eyes.

I was halfway down the hall before I was stopped by the same guards from earlier.

"She's with me." Sylvan appeared out of nowhere and held my arm. His personality changed entirely. The guards backed off and I blinked. He walked us down the hall.

"What the hell was that?" I looked up at him. He just smiled awkwardly.

"I don't talk to g-girls often.." He whispered.

I smiled slightly. Right. I eyed down every exit I could find. We stopped in front of two large doors. Water particles stained the door's exterior. Sylvan opened the door and my heart stopped.

Columbina sat beside Alfonse at the end of the room behind a large table. She looked...anger rose up my body. There were so many people in front of the elongated floor. They stopped once Alfonse snapped his fingers. They all turned in my direction and he smiled in my direction. There were so many eyes on me...I wanted to run. Columbina didn't even glance upwards.

"Welcome, Y/N." Alfonse stood up and held his hand out.
