Friend-Zoned

Chapter 3

Brenna opened her lunch sack and pulled a sandwich out. It looked like a good sandwich.

Just then Ryan sat down on the floor in front of her. A sudden burst of hapiness fluttered through her. But then she rememberd he was here for Melinda, not her.

Wait... I don't like him anymore... she thought. This had been decided a few weeks ago after finally giving up on Ryan. After all, Melinda had admitted that she liked him too. She just wasn't allowed to date till high school.

Just then Kat sat down on the floor next to Ryan.

"Brenna, do you have food," she moaned.

"Wait you want my sandwich? Uh I sort of want to eat this," Brenna explained. No way she was giving Kat this delicious sandwich.

"No I don't want your sandwich.." said Kat. "I was just wondering if you had goldfish or something." How could she not want this sandwich, wondered Brenna. 

"Oh no. I don't sorry," said Brenna. Kat suspicially looked at the lunch bag sitting next to her, then turned towards Ryan.

"Do you have any food," moaned Ryan. Wow, don't these people bring lunches? thought Brenna.

"Maybe. I have to check," said Kat.

"Is it good food, or healthy food?" asked Ryan.

"I don't know," explained Kat. "I'll go see."

Brenna watched as Kat stood up and walked towards a lunch table.

"I hope she has good food..." muttered Ryan.

Kat quickly came back with two cookies. "Here you go," she said as she handed one to Ryan. He sniffed it.

"Is it good?" he asked.

"Sure is," said Kat. "It's made from Reese's." She took a bite of one, stood up, and walked towards the nerdy squad.

Moments later she saw Kat walking back to the lunch table. It seemed to be that she was in the process of getting dress coded for her crop top.

Ryan stood up and left too.

A/N: Sorry I don't really have much to write. I'm sort of at a writers block here. Anyways, I have PLENTY of material to write about in Closing the Goddamn Door (which I recently updated) but it's been getting less and less views on each chapter (same goes for this story but it seems to be doing alright...) So if you haven't check CTGD in while please head on over there and maybe I'll update it soon.
