She was as quiet as a church mouse but admired by many. Maybe not admired, more like sought after. You see, college boys only want one thing and we all know what that thing is. No matter how different you might think he is.
They especially chase after things that give them a challenge. And though it might not seem like it, the woman is as street smart as she is book smart.
I have had a crush on her since the first time her cousin Yuki, Emma, and Hina bought her around to hang out with the group during freshman year. She'd pop in here and there but for the most part, she spent her time being an academic role model.
Who am I talking about you might ask ?
There she was walking now. (y/n) Jackson. She was like a breath of fresh air in a way that we contrast each other completely. Ever since I was younger, I've always liked fighting, having tons of girls, motorbikes, and classic hoodlum shit. I run around with the same friends that used to do these type of things with me and we've gained somewhat of a reputation. But (y/n) ? She wasn't into any of that stuff. (y/n) wasn't the type of girl to fall for the 'bad guy' act. I know becasue it's happened many times before. The quiet girl spent a lot of her time doing homework, reading at her house, writing in that little journal of hers, tutoring, or working at the library. How do I know all this ? Let's just say I have eyes everywhere.
Okay that sounds creepy. I just have a pretty good amount of friends who are closer with her than I was with her. Whenever they would mention seeing or hanging out with her, I would ask what they were up to, knowing full and well I only cared what she did. Or whenever the group had hang outs at the apartment she shared with her cousin, Emma, and Hina, I would always notice her off to the side doing her own thing.
With that being said, having a reputation like mine meant her being one of the many people who knew about it. So there was no possible way she would give me a chance..
Is what I would say if I wasn't so confident in myself. She might be different from other girls but at the end of the day, she was still a girl. It would probably take me one more fake "deep" conversation than usual and boom ! She'll be wrapped around my finger in no time.
Watch, you'll see.
I sat in the courtyard with my loudmouth friends who were arguing about something stupid and fooling around. Usually I would be one to join them but I was too captivated, on her.
She was so effortlessly perfect to me. Her hair was in ginger braids that went past her back and had curled ends. She had clear frame glasses that sat on her face and gold jewelry decorated her body. She carried two textbooks in her hands and had an olive green tote that complimented her nude-ish brown dress that went all the way to her feet yet hugged her figure.
As usual, I ended up staring for too long because suddenly, all I felt was my twin brother, Souya, nudge my shoulder. "Hey. Are you even listening to the plans for tonight ?" my brother questioned.
