Claret

Summary:

Four different people from different walks of life all witness four separate murders by the same killer. Each person all become suspects in the murder investigation and are forced to work together to figure out who the murderer is...even if it's one of them. POV changes between the four main characters each chapter.

Character bios:

-Abi (played by Jessica McLeod): The first person to witness (or commit) a murder. Out-going. Late teens (17-19). Quirky. Has a best friend named Lucas who tags along for most of the groups' journey although he doesn't witness (or commit) a murder. Immature. Easily frightened. Reluctant. Uncomfortable relationship with her parents.

-Toby (played by Freddie Highmore): The second person to witness (or commit) a murder. Aggressive. Still in high school. Aged 16+. Employed at a McDonald's. Expert with computers. Withdrawn. Lots of pent-up anger. Easily set off.

-Cassandra (payed by Taraji P. Henson): The third person to witness (or commit) a murder. Hard-headed. Mother of two young boys. Between 30-40 years of age. Works as a coordinator at a children's daycare. All-business. Rarely friendly toward anyone but her sons. Divorced. Knows how to "get the job done".

-Frank (played by Ian McKellan): The fourth (and final) person to witness (or commit) a murder. Easy-going. Sweet as candy. Age 75-85. A widower. Sensitive. Enjoys making people smile. Loving grandfather. Retired firefighter. Tells corny jokes. Gives many hugs. Knows how to comfort people. Selfless.

-Lucas (played by Matty Healy): Never witnesses a murder. Passive. Kind. Aged 19. Best friend of Abi. Very chill. Tags along for most of the group's investigation. Always smiling. Laid back.
