Felixis Felnough

It's a good sounding title, isn't it? Prince Felixis of Felgh, son of felnough. His Father  told him it was his  duty to rid the monsters and save the kingdom. He had no choice.

                                             When a child born under the full moon arrives,

                               With black hair and pale gold eyes, a golden mark on his neck,

                                                         then shall the kingdom be saved.

A Prophecy made in the chambers of the grand prophet, in front of the sun of Felgh. The king.

The king waited, and waited for this golden child. No, he dint care about the child at all. He cared about raising the kingdoms reputation amongst the nations , which threatened to  decrease due to the monsters in the areas. And one thundering and storming night, did this child come to the world. In the silent birthing chambers of the " Palatium Divinae".  Palace of the divine.

And yet when Felixis was given life, his mother, the queen of Felgh, had lost hers. Every time Felixis took a breath in the chambers, his mothers life slipped away. Slowly...slowly... 

Furious. That's the word for the pure anger and grieve that the king had experienced after he heard of the death of his wife. That day, he killed every single maid in the room. Felixis became known as a cursed child in the kingdom who killed the queen of Felgh, who had been blessed with life by a spirit at birth. If this child could kill life, what else could he do to Felgh? People called him "Maledictus puer de prophetia". "Cursed baby of the prophecy."

The king slowly grew fond  of another, and soon had two twins. A boy and a girl. Now the king wanted the boy to become his hier instead of Felixis, but as Felixis was much older than him, royal law decreed that Felixis be heir instead. The king and his advisors discussed this throughly, and everyone agreed on one thing. 

A  child like Felixis couldn't be king, no matter what. The king swore that if Felixis ever became the king, he would burn this palace down, with its full glory.  Soon, when all hope seemed lost, an advisor, by the name of reycol found a line of fine print in the forgotten laws of rulership. If the heir was not present during his coronation, the second in line would take the throne. Soon the plot was complete. All they needed was Felixis to be as ignorant and stupid as possible. Felix was turning 11 soon, Long hidden away in a separate palace, with only a few maids taking care of the young boy. Conditions were hard, but he could cope, if not barely.
