Maid Servant Jen (ON HOLD)

Chapter 4

Jen's pov

Its was pretty dark outside and late in the eerie night when my battered frame passed the threshold of my front door and entered into the warmness and comfort of my home.

My gaze was blurry as my eyes were in squints as my body threatened to collapse in exhaustion.

I was in dire need of sleep and a massage as my hands and feet ached all over.

I was in no mood to talk or greet  anyone except my bed, so when my mother’s voice echoed from in the living room I cut her short ,”not now mother please” I drawled.

However she still continued to speak, “Where were you earlier? You were supposed to help me out today” she asked in her strict mom voice, with that tone I knew there was no ignoring her…

Well unless I wanted a shoe thrown at my head and she don’t missed…ever

“’I’m sorry mother but I had to do extra hour today I had no choice unless I wanted to be fired. There is also other news I want to tell you but I will have to talk to you about  everything in the morning my body is completely drained of energy as I speak. Good night mother”

As I trudged to my bedroom like a tired solider in a battle field I thought to my self why the hell did my bedroom had to be so far away.

When my body finally collided with my fluffy sheet which smelt like heaven but really is just fabric softener  I drifted into a endless slumber but not before a not so vivid image entered my mind.

It seems my alarm clock wasn’t enough to wake me so my brothers decided to do me the honors when they Burst through my bedroom door and jumped into my bed as if it were their personal trampoline.

I groaned in annoyance and pain as one of them jumped on my ankle I’m pretty sure it’s sprain now.
“you need to get up mom’s making your favorite for breakfast and besides it’s almost eight” I heard Ran voice from under the cover.

“Yeah your going to be late” I heard Ren backing him up.

They are right if it were any other time I would have kicked them off my bed in a haste to get ready.

However yesterday after my master found out that my shift had ended when he requested my assistance and I was in fact doing over time he promised I could come in any time before twelve noon.

So, yeah, I don’t have to worry about the time for now…it’s not even nine yet

Groaning even louder I turned onto my back and peered up at the face of my two brothers they looked like twins to people who don’t know them but really they aren’t.

Thankfully they had stop prancing around on my bed and is now more calmed however I didn’t appreciate how they stood over me with their mischievous eyes.

These two were always up to something and as I go to tell them not to try anything they attacked me. They tickled my sides until I felt like I was going to pee myself or pass out.

“Stop…enough…Ran…Ren” I said between laughter trying to stop their little hands from tickling me any further. I was extremely ticklish and that will forever be my weakness.

Soon after I managed to get the little rascals out of my bedroom I quickly cleaned my room and did the same to my self before heading downstairs to the kitchen.

They were right mother did prepare my favourite so after acknowledging her presence I quickly dived into the world of delicacy.

My taste buds were instantly activated when the food entered my mouth I haven’t had this in forever.

“So what news do you have to tell me? Hopefully it’s good news” mother said putting the dishes in the sink that my brothers ate out of along with hers

“The young master’s farther offered me a deal. If I were to tutor his son he would pay me tripple the amount I’m getting now.” I said swallowing my food in a gulp.

“Well what did you say!?” she asked failing to hide the excitement in her voice poorly. Its seems she’s even more excited than I am.
“I told him that I would think about it “

“And? Tell me what you have decided “ she urges her eyes brightened with hope and she held her hands together in a clasp.

“Well I definitely would be stupid to turn down so much money. I have decided I will take the job however I’m worried about how I will manage two jobs” I said letting my intrusive thought get the better of me.

“Jen I’m sure he doesn’t expect you to be the young master servant as well as his tutor that would put you in an awkward position and that will be too much work for you” mother said her soothing voice and words calming me inadvertently.

“Wait why are you guys still here? Its almost nine isn’t Ran and Ren supposed to be at school?” I asked realizing the time and what was happening.

“You must truly be overworked if you haven’t realized today is Saturday and the twins and I…” mother started.

“Don’t go to school on Saturdays “ I finished with her. I truly hadn’t realize what day of the week it was, in my mind I thought today was Wednesday.

“Well unlike you guys mother unfortunately I have to go to work. I better go get ready now.

It was ten thirty before I set foot onto the premises of where my masters reside. I was in no rush as I made my way to the young master’s father’s study.

Knocking on the door I awaited permission to enter.

When I entered I wasn’t expecting to presence to be in the room. “Good Morning Masters” I greeted in respect my head held down as well as my eyes cast to flooring.

“Maid Servant Jen I’m glad you could finally grace the estate with your godly presence” Master said seemingly in a bad mood.
