WATANABE SENA [ KANJI, 渡辺千愛 ], born on January 1st, 2001, is Japanese-Korean singer, more famously known by her mononym SENA [ HANGUL, 세나 ] under (then Big Hit Entertainment) Big Hit Music, debuting with the group Tomorrow X Together on March 4th, 2019.

Sena and Iseul have met long before their individual debuts. The singers bumped into each other ("as planned by fate", like Iseul likes to say) at the airport when Sena had come to Korea for a snowboarding competition she would be participating in that cold 2015 winter. Hitting it off almost immediately, in spite of their contrasting personalities, they kept close contact even after Sena went back home to Japan.

Quitting professional snowboarding and leaving her competitive years behind, Sena decided that she would pursue a career in music, getting accepted into Source Music, then transferred to Big Hit Music and training to become an idol. Even though her younger brother and close friend were in the same industry, Sena struggled for two years to fit in the world of idols with her almost cold demeanor that drove others away from being her friend.

Her TXT members are a second home to her and  they are now six peas in a pod, as much as she had initially been hesitant on befriending them during their trainee days.

Sena's strength as an idol lies in her ability to master a skill to the very end. She is praised for her dancing abilities and groove, often coming up with large parts of their official choreographies and even posting her own performance videos. She'd always dreamt of becoming a singer, however she now realized that dancing is where her real passion lies. With zero experience in rapping, she's quickly developed a style that works incredibly for herself, quickly rising to a universal favourite among K-pop fans. Singing has always been something she has had the talent in, but it was only after becoming a trainee that she got to take proper lessons. Her cool voice is adored among MOAs, because it gives the boys' warm tones a welcome contrast in their music.

Her development as an artist is considerable, yes, but it is her growth as a person, that I would like to share with you throughout her own book, "like sena". She is flawed and imperfect in many ways, stemming from the environment and the family she has grown up in, but in time she will become a much better— happier— individual.
