Put your hope in God...
Psalm 42:5, 43:5
Sometimes, possibly often, our lives may seem hopeless. When circumstances seem hopeless most of the time our first instinct is to give up. This might be due to the fact that we're tired of not seeing a "logical" way, of not hearing there's a "logical" way, and feeling like we're not on the right road. This can lead us to say, "there is no way, this is hopeless", and just place your mat right there. You now reside in the place you decide to stop walking.
This type of thinking is NOT the way God wants us to think. He doesn't want us to just sit there in our own ideas and give up. He wants us to be still in Him and trust in Him because God makes a way when there seems to be no way, for He is Yahweh!
He wants us to trust Him because we don't see the same way He sees, for His ways are higher (Isaiah 55:9). We see hardships, struggles, obstacles, and hopelessness; we see a place void of hope. God on the other hand not only sees the plans working out for our lives but He makes the plans for us! (Jeremiah 29:11)
He also doesn't see our obstacles as we do; instead, He sees them as victories that we can overcome because we are more than conquerors in Christ (Romans 8:37). Sometimes He even uses these obstacles as training ground to build our trust in Him to show us that it doesn't matter what's there because He already has it figured out whether we like the plan or not, and to show us all things work out for the best!
So even if there seems to be no way, pray to Yahweh. Trust in God and Jesus by always putting your hope in Him. Even when the ground shakes beneath our feet we should know that He is our everlasting ROCK! He is immovable, unchanging, the everlasting God that will never fail you. He will get you through the desert.
He is the hope for the hopeless and the victory for the weak. So do NOT be ashamed of where you are, but instead sing songs of praise, and live a life that praises Him by trusting Him even when you can't see Him or His hand moving in your life. He is there for you forever and always dear child of His. So don't just sit there hopeless, but instead get up [in joy], pick up your mat [of hope], and walk to the waters [which is Jesus]. Go rest in Him and let, as well as watch, your hope multiply! Be patient for all things work out for the good in the end (Romans 8:28).

PRAYER:
Dear God, when I am hopeless remind me to put my hope in You. When I am hopeless remind me that I already gave up: doubt and troubles. Remind me that I gave up my life at the cross. Remind me that there was a day Jesus when bore all my burdens and sins to set me free, and that His promises are everlasting. He broke all the chains of a life of no hope, pain, sorrow, hate, and everything dark. Remind me that You are there, and You do care. You care so much that You died for me, but You're so mighty that You conquered death and sin for all ETERNITY through your righteous blood! So remind me to take what is rightfully mine; joy, peace, HOPE and so much more! When I am hopeless, remind me to lean on You in every situation and every way and not on what i can see or feel. Remind me that what i think is the best is actually not the best because You hold the best; LORD, You are the best. You are my hope, dear God. You are my hope, dear Jesus Christ, my Lord. In Your name there is Victory. In Your Name, my beautiful King Jesus, I pray.
