trent has slipped me onto his lap, and im not complaing to be honest.

me, marcus, jadon, and celina are all at trent's having a marvel marathon.

i look over to see celina crying since, t'chulla has just got 'killed' in black panther, but this bitch doesnt know that he magically resurrects.

"you okay cee?" i ask as she nods,
"yeah, no. ive never been better."
she says sarcastically inbetween sobs, grasping onto a pillow.

trentino suddenly starts barking when michael b jordan appears on trent's tv. what a mood.

i move off of trent's lap, feeling my eyes suddenly feel heavy, before nicking jadon's blanket, and falling asleep on trent's shoulder.

i wake up, and trent's living-room is empty. it just has me, him and trentino in it, who's playing with a toy on the other side of the couch.

i dont think he knows im awake since i can just about tell that he's texting his older brother tyler, and his phone soon starts buzzing.

"you good ty? why you calling me this late?" trent says quietly, it feels illegal to be eavesdropping.

"bro liz is driving me mad." a muffled voice speaks, im guessing this is tyler, but, who's liz?

"did youse get into a fight or somet?" trent asks as tyler hums, guessing liz is tyler's girlfriend then.

"she probably needs some time to herself."
trent says,"yeah probably."

"anyway, enough bout me. what about you?" tyler asks, as trent chuckles, "what do you mean?" ugh he's so fit.

"mate quit playing stupid, that kaeli girl,"
OH SHIT HE'S TAKING ABOUT ME.
"what's going on with yous then?"

"i dont know... she's with me now." trent says,
"at one in the mornin? did yous get drunk and shag?"

ugh. a girl can wish, "she's sleeping, you cunt. and no we didnt shag, she and some of the others had come over to watch a film," trent explains, calmly.

"hm. she seems like a gooden." tyler says as trent agrees, "she's so cute."

NAHHHH IM BLUSHING. I CANT FAKE SLEEP ANY LONGER OR ELSE I FEEL LIKE ILL GO INTO CARDIAC ARREST OR SOME SHITE.

"and she's smart." trent added, i can hear him smiling just by his voice.

"bro you are whipped!!" tyler teases as trent scoffs, "mate, who told you that?"
"everybody knows."

tyler replied, making trent laugh - as he realised he had to tone his laughter down a little bit, thinking im still 'sleeping'.

i move off of trent's chest, and reach for my phone.
"AND THATS HOW THE NEWSPAPER WAS INVENTED!"

i hear trent say loudly before hanging up, and looking at me wide-eyed. "how much of that did you hear?"

he asks, as i look at him pursing my lips, "all of it." i say with a shrug.
