As we pulled up, he turned into the woods surrounding the driveway. The house we were pulling up to looked old and decrepit. It had vines growing all over it. I liked the look of it though, it looked peaceful. The car came to an abrupt stop. We were in front of an old wooden cabin, it looked like Shrek's cabin. Rome got out of the car, leaving me in the car. He went into the house. Was this my time to escape? Or should I stay? I have to talk to my mother about everything. She knows something I know it, but what is it that she knows? Did she actually sell me to the Mafia? Or did he make it up to get me to stay? I looked at the time on the dash and noticed Ive been sitting here for 20 minutes. If he has been there for 20 minutes does that mean that he is going to be a bit? I didn't want to stick around to find out, I opened the door and started running the way Rome took me in. I made it to the decrepit house. It was a shame that it was abandoned. It really was a beautiful house. Just then, I heard a scream. "MADISON?!" It was Rome. "WHERE ARE YOU?!" He seemed angry. In a state of fear, I ran into the house. The lock still worked, so I used it to lock the door I went into the house from. I heard his car start, and drive past the house. I waited a few minutes until I couldn't hear his car, then I went out another door and ran, and ran, and ran, and ran. I ran until I couldn't feel my legs. Luckily, I ran into a nearby town. I looked around and saw my childhood house. Why are we all the way out in California? My house was in Florida. Then I remembered that there was a police station near. I hurried as fast as my legs would take me. I was just outside the station when I collapsed right in front of it. I'm right there! I started to crawl towards it. Just before I got to the door, when Andrea walked in front of me. "I'm sorry Madison..." She trailed off for a bit. Then she looked away from me for a bit. When she looked back, she had tears in her eyes, not any tears, she was crying blood! Her eyes were beat red and her pupils were in a thin line, like a cat's eye. I stared at her, scared and worried. Why is she crying blood? "You're the only thing that has kept my brother sane. I'm not letting you get away." She said through sobs.

Then everything turned black.
