TAIL'S POV
I don't waste time. I dash out of there as fast as I could, careful not to make a sound that could possibly alert Shadow. My breathing soon became labored to the point where I was wheezing for air. Beads of sweat formed, dripping off my muzzle and onto the metallic floor.
I turn my head back to see Shadow out of sight. I chuckle in relief and attempt to slow down- but fail miserably. I trip over on a crack and landed face first onto the ground. I don't feel any fresh blood on me, so I'm assuming I'm okay. But it hurts like hell.
"Need help?" Asked a voice in front of me. I widen my eyes in pure fear and tremble all over. I drop open my mouth, gasping for the right words to say. I slowly look up, my eyes met with red and black air shoes. I whimper and when I do, I hear a faint chuckle slip out.
"It's adorable trying to see you escape, my sly little fox." Shadow says with an impish smile. He squat and put his hands on his knees as his back was arched downward. I choke on my words. "P-plea.. S-... M-mo... I-.. Y-you... Can-ca... H-how..?"
"Simple." He said, and lifted me up as if I weighed nothing. He held me bridal style and chuckled. "You were just too slow." He smirked and refused to make eye contact with me.
I don't want this!
I squirmed in his arms, trying to make him let go but his grip was strong and firm; He just wouldn't let go of me. I resorted to my last option: I bit down into his arm.
He gasped and dropped me. I groaned as my legs fell limp on the floor. I saw waves of blood rushing down to his arms and onto the floor. He growled, clearly livid at what I had done and snapped his fingers with his free arm. I didn't know what was going to happen to me, but I didn't wait to find out.
I fumbled my way up until I felt a strong big hand grab me by the neck and clicked something on. I looked down. It was metallic, yet not heavy. It seemed as if it were a collar.
I didn't care, I started sprinting away. "I wouldn't run if I was you!" Yelled Shadow. I ignored his warning. Faster than Sonic, I felt an electric wave of horror fry my bones.
I screamed in agony and chocked on my words. I was being electrocuted throughout my entire body. I sobbed and screeched louder, my body failing to function correctly as I fall down, spitting and sobbing until my whole body is soaked with water.
The pain stops. My ears fall back to my head as my tail rests low. I stop crawling yet continue to wail loudly. I cuddle myself up in a little ball, closing my eyes and continually crying.
I hear heavy, loud footsteps make their way here without hesitation.
I cry harder and louder.
Someone had grabbed me by the waist and suddenly carried me over their back. They started to walk away. I don't know where they were taking me, but I didn't like it. My crying becomes softer as my eyelids get heavy.
So... Heavy... Like I could just... Fall asleep... Right... Now...
SHADOW'S POV
"I thought that fox was supposed to be smart!" I spat at the bat near me. She smirks and lets out a small chuckle. "There's more to him than what meets the eye." She smiled playfully and left.
Before Tails had the chance to run away, I warned him. But- he didn't listen. So, I called in my crew and ordered them to put a shock collar on him. I pressed the button and Rouge helped me bandage up my arm. She led me to my office where I sat down at my desk. That's why I'm here now.
"Master, we have the fox in his cell." One of my crew men came in, informing me. "Would you like to deliver his food?" He brang up a tray that contained a moldy apple, expired milk, cold, raw chicken and half eaten, dark corn.
I sighed.
I got up and snatched the tray out of his hand, some corn falling off. "Clean that up." I hiss. "Y-yes Master!" He exclaims.
I enjoy the silence as I walk confidently, satisfied with the business I'm running. I go further and further down, until there's that beautiful, absolute silence. I soon reach that yellow fox's personal cell.
He was placed on his dirty bed and he cuddled up his brown pillow. He had his shoes off, revealing his white socks. The brown, small blanket was of no use to him, for it was on the floor and instead used his tails for comfort.
I use my free hand to knock on the cell. "Huah.." He mumbles, yet not waking up. I roll my eyes and release a soft sigh. I grab a strand of my quill and unlocked the latch. I open the cell and set the tray down on the floor.
I gently shook Tails awake. "Mmh.. Sonic noo..." He smiled gently, slightly drooling. I growl and shake him roughly. "Ha-!" He jumps up from the stupid little dream of his.
"Time to eat." I say calmly. Tails looks at the opened door then back at me. "Don't even think about it or else I'll put that collar to use again." I smirk. He flinches a bit but nods slowly yet shakily. I grab him by his arm, forcing him to follow me and push him onto the floor near the tray of food.
"Ouch!" He hisses in pain. I chuckle. "That's what you get for attacking me."
I point to the tray of food. "Eat." I demand. "No, this isn't healthy nor good." He states. I grab him and pin him into a nearby wall. "I said 'Eat'."
He gulps and shakes his head, giving me the 'no'. His face turns pink and he looks up, squeezing his eyes shut with his ears back.
I let go of him.
He looks at me with confusion and I just grab him and carry him on my shoulder. "Hey!" He shouted, squirming. "Let me go!"
"Shut the fuck up if you know whats good for you." I say coldly. He stops moving and shouting and all you can hear is his soft breathing. I make my way to my office. When I arrive there, I go into the door next to it: revealing my living room.
I lock the door and head into my room. I place Tails down onto my red king-sized bed. The big blanket was ruby red, so were the pillows. The sheet is white and on top has a transparent red roof covering my bed. I have a big black mirror in the corner of my room and a closet full of clothes. I also have a dresser near the bathroom door. I have a bean bag on the floor near my bed and a computer, desk, and a black office chair on the right side of my closet. On the desk I have things like: sticky notes, a mug full of pencils and pens, paper, a huge rectangular mirror in front of me, etc.
Tails just sits up on the bed and stares at the blanket. He quietly mumbled something. "Hm?" I question. "What am I doing here?" He asks, his full undivided attention focused on me.
"Well, since your being a brat and because we forgot to build you a toilet, you'll be staying here for the meantime." I respond.
I begin to walk out the room but stop when I open the door. "Stay here." I growl deeply. "I-I will.." My pet replied.
TAIL'S POV
I go up to the big dark mirror. I try to tug off the shock collar but it doesn't budge. I groan and just flop on the bed, clearly tired.
I'm so hungry and thirsty... I should go get something to munch on. Despite what Shadow says, I peek out of the room door. Coasts clear.
"Excuse me?"
