Sunoo's Point Of View
I slowly opened my eyes, only to see the white ceiling. Am I dead? Is this heaven? But given that I am a demon, why did I go to heaven? Joke
I forced myself up and realized I was just in the clinic. What a waste of opportunity to die!
There was a wound on my arm, it was covered with a white cloth but the blood was too obvious. My head and hands hurt, but I couldn't see any new wounds on my body.
Heeseung. I know it was him who spoke in my head, but I'm not sure what happened after that. He is to blame for my survival!
I don't want everything that's happening to sink into my brain. I just entered this school but there is so much happening!
"You're awake?" I saw the opening and closing of the door. "Not yet, I'm still asleep" I shook my head at the nonsense that came to my mind.
I cocked an eyebrow when Jungwon sighed and sat on my bed. "Who said you can sit?" I blatantly asked. He gave me a chuckling smile and a firm cheek squeeze. "So rude"
"So rude" I mimicked his words in a silly way.
I saw the amazement on his face while laughing "You were not like that before, what's happening to you?" He asked with a laugh.
I wore a grave expression. I'm acting this way because I'm bothered about something. "What happened?" That's what I asked immediately.
"You've been sleeping for two days, and nearly half of the forest is on fire," He said as he paused to stare at me "Jay spotted you battling 30 vampires when we went looking for you, and it was also because of you that the forest was on fire."
Huh?!
"Sunghoon noticed the red in your eyes," He said with difficulty and looked away from me. "It's not me. I'm not the one who did it! I don't know anything, Jungwon! No-" I frantically grasped his face.
"Baby, it's fine" He smiled softly and stroked my hair, which made me feel better. He gave me a hushed "Everything is fine" and hugged me.
I won't act in that way; it is not who I am. No, I'm not a monster.
"Sunoo, eat now!" Jake supported me when I entered our Unit. I've just discovered that I know each of the six, and also Jay is one of the Spades.
Small world, it is.
"Are you feeling all right?" The concern was evident on their faces, so I winced. I turned my gaze to Heeseung who was just looking at me seriously.
"I'm alright, I just want to rest," I responded, but Ni-ki just shook his head with a frown. "Eat first" I simply sat next to him while laughing at what he did. Woah scary.
I just ate fast and then went to bed.
I opened my eyes in wonder at the weight I felt in my stomach. My eyes blinked when I saw Jungwon hugging me tightly.
He was still asleep when I gave him a shake. Why is he here? Ugh! So heavy!
"Jungwon" I whispered to him and pinched his cheek to wake him up. He just smiled at me and hugged me tighter "We have class!" I hit him irritated.
I was freed from his grasp after a simple giggle from him.
"I don't want to attend" When he demonized me, I raised my middle finger at him "I have changed my life!" He just laughed.
"PE is the first subject! I wish I had died!" Jake complained to me as we walked, his arm around me.
"He's the new one at Spade?"
"He's the monster! He burned our forest!"
"Don't be loud, you might be heard"
"What I'm saying is true! He's a monster!"
The whispers of the other students caused me to bow my head. Monster? Me? I'm a monster?
I was surprised when the students who had been whispering just now started shouting. I took a step back when I saw two girls floating in the air while holding their necks.
"Ni-ki" I murmured.
He has power over his hand, thus it is most likely because of him that the two girls are in the air. Although Jake appeared to be enjoying what he was witnessing, I still wanted to report Ni-ki to him.
"Ja-"
"Monster" Heeseung was approaching us and had a serious expression on. I back away because I found it frightening.
"Monster" Prior to staring into my eyes, he repeated what he had just said.
"Not a monster, but a sin" He smirked.
