Chapter 2 Bobby

It's now 6 o' clock and I am meeting Bobby at precisely 8:30 pm. I am currently in my apartment room laying in bed. My apartment room isn't the grandest of rooms but it has all my necessities. The walls of the room are a rather crude color. Whoever thought to paint the walls this way certainly were not right in the head. I have a neighbor across the hall from my room. I haven't spoken a word to them even though I have now lived here for five years and I don't have the slightest intent on getting acquainted.  There is something off about my neighbor, something unsettling. If they were home often, I would have moved out of this apartment building the moment an opportunity made itself known.  Luckily, my neighbor is only present late in the evenings so I suppose it doesn't matter... As long as she stays in her own natural habitat.

Despite Bobby being my oldest friend, I do not think very highly of him. I've known Bobby since the 3rd grade, he's not the brightest fellow, actually I would say that he is quite stupid. Not only is he a dunce, but he also comes from a household with very low income. Bobby couldn't even afford to go to college and even if he did have the money, he would obviously flunk out. There is only one reason as to why I allow Bobby to think I consider him a good friend which is because of the benefits that come with it of course. Bobby got lucky being born with a stellar ability to play football. In fact, he holds a spot on the top ranked team in this nation. Because Bobby is so famous, he has connections to which I am able to exploit due to being his so- called  "best friend."
