Scenario:you were the adoptive daughter of the singer Luther Vandross and you remake your father's song by doing a Last song in concert with your father and you didn't know that Demi was there and after the concert you planned to get back with her and propose to her (Will she say yes?, just read it till the end!)

Your POV
i was at my dad's house and we were singing his song 'I'd Rather' and after we sing it i asked him

"hey dad?"he look up to me and smiled

"yes?, what is it sweetheart?"how do is tell him?, is it time to tell him? you know what?, fuck this I'm telling him!

"i-i have been dating a girl before..."i said and there was a silent and he stood up and mom walk in

"did i hear that right?!"she said and i nodded and i slowly close my eyes ready to be slapped by dad
but I don't felt a sting or hand in my face but to my surprise mom and dad hugged me

"were happy for you but why didn't you tell us sooner?"i sigh

"that was before but now were not together and the girl i dated she broke up with me because she told me I'm not better so she found that was better than me"dad sigh

"i know so, prepare to sleep and we have a lot to prepare you're going to practice your songs tomorrow so be prepared okay?"i nodded and i quickly went to my room to sleep

~The Next Day~
~At Concert~

after many song i sing it was already 1am so i quickly tell to the staff to bring out my dad's piano and after placing it i sit down and sigh

"this song is made by my dad Luther Vandross, dad can you come here and play with me?"i said and he come out and many people cheer and clapped their hands and he sit beside me and kissed my forehead

"so this song I'm going to sing is about the girl i dated before and after me and her break up i dated another girl after 1 year but i thought she could replace her but she doesn't she's not the girl that i love the girl that i love is her my first ever love, so Demi, my first Love this song is for you"i said and i look at my dad
