Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher turned meth kingpin, was sitting at the kitchen table of his Albuquerque apartment, counting his profits from the latest drug deal. His boyfriend, Kaworu Nagisa, a quiet and reserved college student, walked into the room, interrupting his thoughts.

"Walter, we need to talk about rent," Kaworu said, a hint of frustration in his voice.

"What about it?" Walter asked, not looking up from his stack of cash.

"I think it's too high. We can't keep paying this much every month. We need to find a cheaper place to live," Kaworu said, his voice growing louder.

Walter's demeanor instantly changed. He stood up, towering over Kaworu, and said, "Are you questioning how I handle our finances? I make enough money to afford this place and everything else we need. I don't see the problem."

Kaworu stood his ground, "I'm not questioning your abilities, but we can't keep living beyond our means. We need to start being more responsible with our money."

Walter's anger boiled over. He slammed his fist on the table, causing the stacks of cash to scatter. "I make the money, I make the decisions. If you have a problem with that, then maybe you should find a new place to live."

Kaworu's eyes widened, hurt by Walter's words. He took a deep breath and said, "I just want what's best for us. I don't want to fight with you, but we need to be realistic about our situation."

Walter's anger dissipated as he realized the truth in Kaworu's words. He sat down and put his head in his hands. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you like that. I'll look into some other options for us."

Kaworu walked over and put a hand on Walter's shoulder, "I'm sorry too. I just want us to be happy and financially stable."

The couple sat in silence for a moment before Walter spoke up, "I'll make sure we find a place that we can both afford and be happy in."

As they hugged and apologized, it was clear that their love for each other was stronger than any argument about money.
