A dark shadowy figure came to the rescue of a young woman, who had a dirtied clothing mixed with blood and mud. A shadowy ambience enveloped the two, thanks to the dense forest's tall canopies dominating the scenery.
"Y-you're a nameless...one?" The young woman asked.
"Yes. Although this body of mine does." The mysterious being replied.
"Why'd you come for me?" The young woman asked again.
The mysterious being remained silent and stood up. The faint streaks of light passing through the forest made several lines on the mysterious being, revealing his face slowly. It was Erws Grynssford, Lord of the neighboring duchy of Tynthebarne. She knew him.
"F-forgive me Lord Grynssford!" the young woman knelt in fear.
"Forget it. He is not around right now." Erws interrupted.
"B-but.!"
Erws grabbed her hand and made her stand up. He then proceeded to give her some of the stew he had cooked the night prior. He knew he had to get home, since the Erws at the Grynssford Manor would have probably disintegrated into dust.
"Young lady, what's your name?"He asked.
"My name is ****************", she replied.
"It seems that even I could not read names at all. So the curse still remains." Erws said to himself.
"Young lady, you must forget what have happened." He requested.
"Don't tell anyone you met me, or anything of this matter at all."
"There will be punishment if you do." He concluded.
From afar, Erws saw the young lady walk towards a neighboring village. She was the first among all humans that the voice had ever seen to have had a different aura. Unlike the usual faint red aura that most people emit, she had a bright, yellow aura. This was particularly the reason why the voice managed to find her, and why it was obligated to save her. It was curious.
"I wonder what that means."
Back at the Grynssford Manor, no one had noticed that the actual Erws had actually sneaked out the day prior. Everything was as usual, with Erws' parents occupied with the matters of their lot and his siblings busy learning the duties of nobles. He carefully went in his chambers and cleaned up what remained of his decoy.
"What happened when I was gone, voice? Erws asked.
"You fainted out of nowhere. You're pretty lucky I was around." the voice replied.
"You met someone?" Erws added.
"Yes, but you do not know her. Yet." the voice replied.
"How did you know? you were unconscious." the voice asked.
Erws was also shocked by this question. How did he know? But he remembered having seen a glimpse of yellow light in the dark, during the times that he was rendered unconscious by some weird phenomena. It's as if he was still awake yet fully out of his body. It felt like he found someone so remarkable that he couldn't ignore it.
"I-I don't know, actually..." Erws replied.
"That girl. She's a strange one." the voice remarked.
"Strange in what?" Erws asked.
"She doesn't emit the same aura that humans do. But she's human, as far as I know." the voice answered.
"She might actually have something more in common with us, Erws." the voice added.
"You must find her."
Erws couldn't be bothered with that at all, seeing that he doesn't have the time to spare at the moment. Growing suspicious of the voice, however, he reluctantly agrees in order to not raise suspicion from himself.
"Alright, but I've got a lot of matters to deal with right now."
