part five

elle had set a alarm for five am, just so she would have enough time to drive jude to the airport, and for him to get to his plane.

of course, five am came sooner than elle had wanted it to. she lightly nudged jude until he woke up.

"make sure you have all your stuff ready!" elle reminded jude.

"yeah let me get up and get dressed." jude said.

jude got up and went to get ready. he wanted to wear something comfortable for the plane ride. so he wore black joggers and a grey hoodie.

elle got up to get ready as well. she quickly showered and did her morning routine. she blow dried her hair and put it in a claw clip. elle wore her grey sweatpants, a black shirt, and her jacket.

jude was done before elle so he waited for her on the couch. elle suggested that they leave now so they could get breakfast on their way to the airport.

they got into elles car and drove to the nearest mcdonald's. the car ride was silent, because jude didn't want to leave, and elle didn't want him to leave. they arrived at the mcdonald's drive thru and ordered.

once they got their food elle found a parking spot and they ate in the car.

"i don't want to leave." jude admitted.

"i don't want you to leave either." elle said putting her hand on his shoulder.

"but i have loads of games coming up, and it would mess up my schedule." jude said looking down at his shoes.

"yeah, i understand. you're a very busy man." elle laughed.

"yeah, i kinda am. hey, maybe sometime you could come down to england. i know you have college still though." he spoke out loud.

"that would be perfect! i have always wanted to go to england, and so has charlotte! i would just have to find time. like maybe in the summer!" elle also spoke out loud.

jude nodded his head. they both finished their food, so it was time to drop jude off at the airport.

it was around a 45 minute drive to the o'hare airport. they both kinda sat there in silence, they enjoyed each others company.

they were about 5 minutes away, and elle was dreading this the whole car ride there.

they reached the drop off section of the airport. they both got out of the car. elle popped her trunk and jude took his luggage out. he closed the trunk and walked over to the doors.

"i'm gonna miss you so much." jude admitted to elle.

"i'm gonna miss you too, jude." elle said.

jude set his luggage on the ground and engulfed elle in a hug. it was the best hug ever. a hug that you would never want to let go of. jude let go and just looked at elle. and elle looked back.

"can i kiss you?" jude quickly let out.

elle was so shocked by what he just said. she nodded her head yes. he grabbed her lower back and she put her arms around his neck. he put his lips on hers. he was perfect. this moment was perfect. his lips were soft, making elle smile into the kiss. they both moved back.

"bye elle. i'll see you later." he said with the biggest smile on his face.

he walked into the doors of the airport and waved. elle waved back. he turned around and went to the bag drop off.

elle walked back to her car. she was rethinking everything that just happened. it was perfect.

she wanted to get back to her apartment so
she could tell charlotte everything that had just happened.
