Willa took the Alpha necklace and put it on me. I smiled. She hugged me tightly.

We put our hands on the moonstone. I was the last one. It transported us to the den.

Addison and Zed kissed. The wolves howled teasingly.
Wyatt pulled me outside onto the cliff. We sat there, away from the crowd of hundreds. I took off my cheerleading coat and Wyatt's coat, removing the warmth. Wyatt wrapped an arm around me and held me close to him.
"I'm really happy with how things turned out," I breathed.
"Me too." Wyatt looked deep in thought. "So, if that's your necklace," Wyatt motioned to the necklace I've always had, "then how did it break?"
"Zed accidentally caught it when he was protecting Addi, and kinda smashed it," I admitted.
"Then the coughing fit in my shoulder," Wyatt realized, almost in a teasing voice. "More than that, I'm glad I met you. Because you're amazing."
"I'm glad I reunited with the boy who fell over laughing a couple times," I teased back.
"Unfair," Wyatt whined.
I didn't realize it, but our faces were so close to each other. Wyatt noticed it too. "May I kiss you?"
I nodded. He leaned in slowly, probably nervous that I was going to push him away. Our lips connected. The rush of happiness that came over me was overwhelming. He cupped my cheek for a moment and pulled away, breathing heavily. Wyatt ran his thumb over my cheek, smiling.
After everyone left, I helped clean up the wolf den. I had planned to go back to my cave and sleep there, but Wyatt begged me to do otherwise. The pups were tired, and Willa turned in right after everything was done.
Wyatt was a few feet away from me. I could barely sleep. The moon was shining brightly above us, but that usually helped me sleep more. I sat up, rubbing my face. I needed to go to sleep soon.
Wyatt shifted and turned in his sleep, making me concerned. I turned over, examining him. It was almost like he was having a nightmare. I laid a hand on his cheek, calming him almost instantly. I scratched behind his ear so his body relaxed. Laying down, I looked at the moon again.
A rush of energy ran through me as my hair glowed. I sat up, startled. It sparkled for a few moments before it disappeared. Wyatt's eyes fluttered open, noticing me sitting up. He sat up slightly.
"Are you okay?" Wyatt whispered.
"Yeah," I whispered back, nodding.
Wyatt kissed my hand before closing his eyes again. We held hands as we fell asleep.
