The New Girl

Chapter 1

Akira's POV

Moving is not easy especially when moving to another state and starting over is not easy either. Right now im in the car with my mom, older brother and my baby sister, we're all excited for this change because let's just say moving away from somewhere that was once your turned into something violent and getting the chance to escape is an amazing feeling. My "dad" is an alcoholic and drug abuser and used to take out his anger on us until my older brother stabbed him luckily they believed him that it was self defence and now my so called "dad" is gone FOREVER.

Finally moving on hopefully without any trouble...my mom found this job offer on Instagram in Harlem and she thought it would be a great thing to do... let's just hope it is though.

"Okay my three musketeers we're here" mom said excitingly

"So this is we're starting from huh?" Justin asked

"Yeah I mean it's only for now" mom replied whilst getting out of the car

"I know it's not like back in Florida but it's a chance for us to start over, now let's get these boxes inside so we can start unpacking" mom said while opening the trunk.

We didn't really carry all our belongings with us, I know sounds stupid but we actually needed the money with moving states, going to new schools and buying necessities for the new house when you think about it, it does costs alot.

I start unbuckle my baby sister's car seat and took her out carefully, she has been sleeping for hours, we actually didn't take a plane we decided to do this family driving out thing.

Honestly inside the house wasn't that bad it was clean maybe a little renovation here and there but it was perfect.

TIME SKIP....

We were don unpacking our stuff but I didn't wanna stay inside the house for the ENTIRE evening so i decided to have a bath and walk around the neighborhood a little yk just to get used to my surroundings.

"Mamii im gonna walk around the neighborhood a little" i shouted making my way to the front door.

"Uh huh okay but do me a favor yeah..the supermarket a few blocks down can u get some groceries please just a few stuff that yk we'll need for a few days until we officially go shopping." mom said

"ok i will but what abt the diner?"i asked

"hm nah jus go to the supermarket."mom said taking out her shoes out of her suitcase.

"okay mamii ill be bk ltr"i said opening the front door to leave.

As i was walking a noticed a group of boys playing basketball one of them caught ma eyes thooo he cute asl...to how he be playing he looks like a pro.

I went inside the supermarket and got what i know we'll need for a few days like some snacks and food to make breakfast lunch and dinner and a few toiletries, it wasn't alot tho cuz we can just come back to get some more if we run out...the walk isn't that long.

I decided not to go home as yet, i kinda wanted to walk around a little. I decided to go the court where the boys were playing, there was alot of of people there tho.

After a while everybody left. I stayed tho just to watch then the boy i found attractive looked over to where i was sitting.

DD's POV

I saw a girl watching us and why she didn't leave as yet caz basically everybody left already, i was curious so i decided to ask her.

"Yo ma, u kl?" i asked her.
