Taking Over the World Part 2

One Year Later

A year after Crane was defeated the world was peaceful and growing.  Most of the people who were turned into paper gained powers a week afterwards.

Both Emily's gained the power of flight and could shoot light out of their hands.

Alyse gained the power of speed and Cara gained the power of x-ray vision.

 Molly gained the power of mind reading. She could read anyone's mind no matter how far they were.

Fiona could burst into flames when she was pissed off or angry. She burned half the school down when Matt didn't give her Pocky. On the first day of school.

Jen could turn invisible and go through walls.

They all hid the fact they had powers though. (Fiona blamed the fires on a firecracker that molly read in the mind of a kid at school who had one. The kid was expelled.) They knew that if the government found out, they would run experiments on them. They worked on improving their powers over the year.  Everyone got better and better with their powers that they didn't have episodes like Fiona did the first day.

But their other friends, (Aubrey, Milan, Brandi, Lupe, Tobi, Ashley, Gwynn, Jameala, both Andrea's, and Celeste) started to fine it suspicious that they were always having sleepovers without them and spied on them. They found out that their powers and yelled at their friends for hiding it. So all 18 of them learned more about the powers.

Soon, the group figured out how to give the others powers as well. It was molly's idea to turn the others into superheroes. I'm not sure how they turned them because I really had to go to the bathroom and missed out on the turning. Anyway, they all had powers now.

Aubrey got the power of controlling peoples' minds.

Milan got the power of levitation.

Brandi got the power of rainbows and unicorns.  She could call unicorns to herself and ride them to hell. Yup, you read right. She can send you to hell. On a unicorn.  

Scary.

Lupe gained the power of teleportation.

Celeste gained the power of erasing people out of life. She also gained the power of healing.

 Tobi gained the power of knowing when you're lying to him and super strength.

Ashley gained the power of time travel and could go back in time whenever she wanted with up to 3 people with her. She could not, however, go to the future.

  Gwynn could shape-shift into anyone she saw.

Jameala could control radiation, energy and gravity.

Andrea could melt anything with one touch. She wore gloves to keep it in check.

Andrea could make force fields around a group of people. They all instantly become invisible.  

All of the friends learned more and more about their powers over that year.

Until, Emily L. found the first egg.

Emily was looking for her favorite pair of pants when something fell out of her pocket. She looked at it and picked it up. Instantly, as if a light switched was turned on, she became a mindless slave.

See, before Crane went to the dock, she left messages in her loyal paper peoples' entire mind so that if she dies, the minute they finder her eggs, they have the command to take care of them and do nothing else till they hatch. The babies would then become their leaders. She didn't think she was going to die but just in case she did, this plan would go into motion. If she didn't die, she was going to delete the command.

Emily started to take care of the eggs and didn't focus on anything else. Her grades dropped and she started to not show up to the super meetings. All of her friends started to worry and decided to corner her one afternoon after school.

   They all stopped her on her way from school in the alleyway behind Yogurtland. Emily tried to get away and back to the egg but her friends stood in the way.

"Emily, why are you avoiding us?!" Other Emily yelled at her.

"Yeah! We haven't seen you since last month!" Aubrey said.

They all forgot that Emily could fly though, so she ignored all of them and flew up to go home. Only, they forgot that the other Emily could fly too.  She blocked Emily L.'s path home each time she tried to leave. Emily L. shot her heat-ray vision at the other and they began a hot war against each other. They destroyed half of the town before Emily W. got the upper hand and burned a hole through Emily L. Emily L. fell to the ground with a sickening splat. All of her friends surrounded her broken form. Emily W. flew down from the sky feeling awful that her friend was now dead because of her and that their cover was blown.

Celeste Healed up the huge wound and they all waited for their friend's recovery.

Emily L. woke up with a gasp and started coughing violently.

"God... I feel like I was hit by a train.... My throat hurts too..."

The Emily's epic fight had knocked the command right out of her head and she was back to normal. I guess that's what holes in the middle of your stomach does to you...

All of the friends sighed happily that she was ok. They helped her up from the ground just as the police arrived. The police pointed guns at them and told them to freeze. Both Emily's were taking into custody.

They were taken by the FBI for testing.

They didn't rat out the rest of their friends.

They were gone for the rest of year and the year after that.
