loving you is like autumn,
and suddenly, i start to fall,
like the leaves before we caught them,
i never meant to at all

loving you is like winter,
where i fell with the flakes,
without you, my heart might splinter,
so i keep the memories we make

part of me wonders if this is all just a dream,
like my breath on the air,
all too soon, i fear you might leave
me all alone, but still, i care

because loving you is like spring,
where i bloomed with the flowers,
hoping you'd notice me, among everything
'we're just friends,' but alas, my words hold no power

and loving you is like summer,
like the plants, these feelings grow,
my heart pumps a beat and you are the drummer,
sadly, i'm afraid you'll never know...
