"I called Tether." Grey announces as he walks into Arrow's room.

Arrow scrambles to his feet. "What the fuck? Why would you do that? You don't actually trust that fucker, do you?"

Grey's eyes flicker down to me where I'm seated on Arrow's bed, then back up to Arrow. "No, I don't."

"Then what the fuck? Why are we inviting more bosses into this shit? I think three is plenty." Arrow seethes.

I hated the tension in the air. I hated when they spoke to each other like this. I especially hated that it was because of me.

Grey takes a step forward, putting himself eye to eye with Arrow. "Who put you in charge?" His voice is steely and cold and I'm tempted to step between them but I'm worried they want to work it out on their own.

"That's not the point," Arrow's voice lowers. As if he's accepting his place below his boss. Though I'd never really considered Grey to be a "Boss". Not like my father is. Grey seemed to work alongside his men more than he worked above them.

"I hate him, Arrow." Grey lowers his voice too but still has that eerily calm edge. The one that sends shivers down my spine. The one that makes me believe he is indeed a mob boss. "I could kill him for the way he looks at Ivy. I could kill him for what he did to you. For laying a single hand on you. I would relish in his blood on my hands."

My heart- which had grown cold at this interaction- suddenly started to hammer in my chest. There was warmth in his words. Maybe even love. And not for me, but for Arrow.

"But?" Arrow sighs.

"But, he has a soft spot for Ivy and while that still makes me want to kick his teeth in, it also means he'll help us keep her safe."

Arrow stares at him for another moment before he nods and steps back, the tension dissipating.

"I'm sorry," I say. "About all of this."

Arrow turns back to me and smiles his beautiful genuine smile. "This is not your fault, Poison. None of this is." He sits beside me on the bed and wraps an arm around my waist tugging me into his lap. I look up at Grey. His face is unreadable as he watches the two of us. Arrow kisses my cheek and I can't help but smile a little. "Plus, you keep things interesting, and we like interesting, don't we, Sin?"

Grey's lips turn up at the corners and he moves in front of us. Getting to his knees on the ground on either side of my legs where they dangle off the bed. "We do." He agrees and leans down to kiss my bare thigh.

I was wearing a pair of Arrow's boxers and a cropped sweater, so there was nothing stopping him from moving up my thighs.

But he did stop. He lifted his head and his eyes flicker behind my head. To Arrow.

Arrow starts to move forward, his front pressing harder against my back as he leans down.

My lips part when the two of them are suddenly kissing right in front of my eyes.

I blink.

Once.

Twice.

Three times.

And they were still kissing. Their lips moving together like they'd done this so many times before. And maybe they had. I hoped they had.
