"Petals Falling"
After Lina left to fight in the war, Alex was left alone with a heavy heart. He couldn't understand why she would choose war over him and their life together. He was hurt and confused, but as time passed, he realized that he couldn't just sit idly by while the woman he loved fought for their cause.
He knew that Lina was fighting for something bigger than just the two of them, and he couldn't let his personal feelings get in the way of that. So he made the difficult decision to join the war effort, without letting Lina know, and fight alongside her.
As he joined the resistance fighters, he found himself thrown into the chaos of battle. He had never been a soldier before, and it was clear that he wasn't made for war. He struggled to learn the ways of battle and could never seem to get the hang of it. He found himself constantly struggling to keep up with the others and was always a step behind.
Despite his struggles, Alex's determination never wavered. He fought on, always thinking of Lina and the cause they were fighting for. But, as the war raged on, Alex's struggles began to take a toll on him. He was exhausted and on the brink of collapse.
As the fate of the war and the outcome of the battle was yet to be seen, Alex found himself alone and separated from his unit in a fierce battle, he was injured and unable to move, and the last thing he saw was a group of Strauss' soldiers approaching him. The next chapter will determine whether he lived or died.
