Jab Siri met Neil

Ch:2 The one where she said hi.

As you know Neil moved in next door to our gracious, cute, smart and very pretty Siri. She did need to lie down after witnessing her new breathtaking bedroom view. Siri only could bring up the courage to take little peaks of the Neil's bedroom. Most times he would be working out or reading. School and pleasure. Neil didn't really take notice of Siri. He was mostly engrossed in his own stuff. A few weeks passed on, and Siri still didnt walk up to Neil. They never looked or glanced at each other. It was like Siri didnt really exist to Neil, But Neil really did exist to her. 

"YOU NEED TO TALK TO HIM SARAYU" 

"I CAN'T OKAY! He doesn't even know i exist"

"This is going too far Siri, You need to tell him how you feel or atleast drop a hint!?"

"So you want me to walk up to this guy,  this greek god of a guy, and look right into his dark brown eyes and say 'Hi' ?"

"YES. Say 'Hi im Siri. Wanna get some coffee?' "

"Coffee? No no i can't do that! I CAN BARELY SAY 'HI'  AND YOU WANT ME TO GET COFFEE WITH HIM?? ARE YOU CRAZY LISA?!"

"NO SARAYU I'M ACTUALLY BEING THE SANE ONE HERE. You will either walk up to him and introduce yourself to him or i will walk up and tell him everything, INCLUDING THE GREEKGOD INCIDENT"

"NO NO HEY. LETS ALL CALM DOWN NOW. I'll talk to him okay? just give me some time."

"Great. It's a deal."

Siri did make a deal with Lisa about talking to Neil, But it's easier said than done. So for a few days of standing out on the roof, she did try walking up to him but kept aborting the mission till one day, cupid finally struck his arrow. Siri was in a hurry to not miss her physics class and while going over her messy notes she bumped into someone tall. Now yes, you guessed it. She bumped into none other than, our greekgod, Neil. Siri was so shaken from the dash that she didn't even realise that it was Neil that she bumped into. She just gathered her notes, that were dramatically trying to fly away with the wind, but when she looked at a hand trying to get one of her papers, she looked up towards the face and was shocked to see him. She tried so hard not to blurt something stupid or even blush. 

"I- um, i'm so so sorry, i don't know how i didn't even- i mean, i noticed you but i was just-"

"It's Alright. I can understand haha."

"Yeah right, again so sorry"

"Don't apologize, it's cool, uh- by the notes i can understand how strict Mr Mathur can be."

"Yeah, he sure his, i actually was late for his class that why i didnt see you- i mean i wasn't paying attention-"

"oh its cool, you better hurry, before-"

"Yeah, OH YEAH, thanks"

"No worries, Sarayu."

"How did you-"

"It was on your notes."

"Oh ahah yeah right"

"I'm Neil, if you were wondering."

"Oh I already know"

"Um, what how-"

"I- Uh.. One of my friends told me, she knows someone from your class and saw you and like you know i- um, I gotta go im very late for Mr Mathur's class right now, I'll see ya later i guess"

And Siri rushed off, not even realised what had just happened. She was so worried about Mr Mathur's class that she didn't have time to think and wrap her head around the whole converstation that she just witnessed.

After a long, very long day, Siri was walking towards her house, while replaying the whole senario in her head again and again. She finally was so heart-struck to finally talk and make convo with the boy next door. She was dreaming about future convos now that he finally knew she existed. Hell, he knew her freaking name! 

Siri went to her room, fully exhausted from Mr Mathur's boring lecture on physics. She just wanted to give up and lie down and sleep for a lifetime, while dreaming about Neil. As soon as she put down her back, she sat next to her desk which was facing towards Neil's Bedroom window. That's when she noticed Neil, and guess what, Neil noticed her too. Neil saw Siri and waved towards her. Siri waited a full mintue to process what was happening and then waved back. Soon Neil, picked up a notebook, scibbled something on it and pointed it towards her. Siri picked up her notebook, repeated the same and pointed it towards him, 

The notebook had written, "Hi."
