Chapter One: Meeting him.

    It was a nice warm summer morning in June. The sun was shining there were very few clouds in the sky. The sky was a soft light blue the birds could be heard chirping. Kids could be heard from outside playing in the warm weather.
    The house was quiet though it had been a rough night. It was 8am though everyone in the house was asleep last night was the worst night for Emi and her family. Emi's grandpa was rushed to the hospital at 3 am. Not knowing he'd be rushed into emergency surgery.
Her whole family including her was up. Waiting for his surgery to be finished. It's now June 1st the day after the incident Emi woke up to her mom cooking breakfast at 9 am. Emi had met a guy on discord his name was Cooper. He's a sweet and kind guy they became friends. Talking to him made her day better.
   She was glad to meet him from her other friend who she had known for some time. As she got to know Cooper she found out that he's 16 and she's 15. Though he lived in another state. As she got to know him she found out they had a lot in common. After talking to him everyday she found herself trusting him more. She began to be her true self around him. They eventually became best friends.
   Even though Emi's day could be bad she knew she could go to him and somehow with him even trying he could make her day better. During this time she was going through a rough relationship it was rocky majorly. Her boyfriend just was not treating her right he never gave her attention, never respected her boundaries etc. Emi didn't know what to do.
She didn't want to leave the relationship nor did she want to stay in it. Though she decided to stay in the relationship. She told Cooper everything from how her boyfriend was treating her to all her personal stuff that bothered her because she could trust him.
