I opened my mouth and closed it, unable to form words. If he would have said this two days back, I probably would've reacted different.
"Are you out of your mind Ashton?!" I yelled.
"Wha? I thought you liked me too" he said.
"Dude, you told me you liked my best friend! What makes you think I'll come running in your arms after you dump her?" I said all in one breath.
"I made a mistake Riles" he said
"Playing with someone's feelings isn't a mistake, okay? I'm done here" I said and walked to class
