This is what she does every morning. Telling herself that she is doing an amazing job and everyday is a good start. She never pitied herself and tried to earn people's sympathy. Rather she wants to make herself strong and be independent so that people feel proud and inspired of her. She wants to set an example to all the women like her.

Her father is the CEO of the great Arora Group of Companies and was already married. Her mother was his secretary and both had an affair and she is the result of their affair.

When her mother found out that she was pregnant, she begged her so-called father to help her, but he turned his back on.

When Pragya was three, somehow the truth about their affair came into the limelight. To secure his reputation, her father made her and her mother move into his place and told the public that she is his and his wife's child.

Pragya's mother was not happy with it but for her future, she accepted it. When Pragya was five, her mother passed away. After her death, Pragya's life became upside down.

Pragya's father and her step mother never liked her. She is an unwanted burden in their life. Whenever she tried to have a conversation with them, they would ignore her. Pragya's step mother will never leave a chance to taunt or insult her.

Soon Pragya's stepmother gave birth to a baby girl, Madhurima. She was happy that she was going to have a sister, but her stepmother never allowed Pragya to be near her. Madhurima also grew up hating Pragya.

That's when Pragya realized that she was alone in this world. Even Though it broke her, she was determined. To get out of this life and make her life as per her wish. She wants to be independent and successful.

So while she was studying, she started working and earning. She saved each and every penny of it. After completing her schooling, her father didn't allow her to go for college. He was not ready to spend on her. That's when Pragya moved out of her house.

She moved into a hostel. Even Though it's not as sophisticated as her father's home, she felt like she could take a breath. She could taste the freedom.

After that, Pragya started to take double shift work. With her earnings, she took care of her daily expenses and saved some money for her educational purpose. Everything is getting better for her, except for one thing.

Pragya never experienced the care and love of someone. She vaguely remembers her mother. She wishes that she could survive without it.

Pragya looked at herself for one last time and went for her work.

****************

Pragya enters the cafe where she works. "Good Morning auntie..." She said, smiling at Sushma, the manager of the cafe.

Pragya was wearing a simple T-Shirt and a jean, which she usually wears. Her hair was tied to a messy bum and she wore no makeup as she was running late.

"Good Morning. Here, have this." Sushma said, pointing to the breakfast served on the table. Pragya shrinks her eyebrows, seeing it and gives a question mark look to Sushma. "I know that you didn't have your breakfast. Everyday you come and work here with an empty stomach and it's not good for your health."

"I ate my breakfast." Pragya lied. She doesn't want her boss to know that she is hungry.

"We are having this conversation daily and you know what is gonna be the result. Save some time and eat." Sushma said, ignoring Pragya's protest.
