Sanji's view:

"Did he just...kiss me?" the question flashed through Sanji's mind as he stood, still frozen in shock, leaning against the wall where the swordsman had left him. His cheeks felt boiling hot from the blood that had rushed to his face in shame. His heart raced wildly in his chest and his legs felt like jello. He still felt the echo of Zoro's kiss on his lips. Lost in thought and still with his eyes widened in panic staring straight ahead into nothingness, he brushed his trembling fingers over his slightly quivering lips.

"He really kissed me," he only now began to realize. Suddenly a thousand different feelings overwhelmed him, so that he could no longer hold himself on his trembling legs and sank powerlessly to the floor, his bright red face buried in his hands.

"Why did he do that? Does Zoro have true feelings for me? Was it just a joke? But he was so serious about it. And fuck, why did it feel so good?" the questions rolled over in his head, unable to even find an answer. "Fuck, what am I thinking? It felt good? Like, never!", desperately trying to talk himself out of his feelings, which were trying to push their way to the surface. "Take it easy, Sanji. This is all just a normal reaction to someone kissing you. It doesn't mean you have feelings for that stupid swashbuckler," he continued to tell himself, actually noticing his excitement slowly subsiding. He put a cigarette between his lips, lit it and took a deep drag. The familiar taste of nicotine immediately began to calm him down. Still sitting on the floor, leaning his head against the wall behind him, he began to sort out his thoughts.

The whole situation had already started strangely. Since when did Robin respond to his advances? He had been pleased, yes, but if he was honest, it was only because he knew he could drive the swordsman up the wall with it. So actually, Zoro's reaction had been exactly what he had intended after all. At least the part where Zoro got jealous. And yes, maybe he had also hoped that it would turn into an intimate situation again, at least that was what usually came out of their argument lately. But that Zoro would kiss him, he had definitely not expected that. Had it been a joke on his part? If so, then it was in absolutely bad taste. But Zoro's face had been far too serious for a joke, and especially his expression after the kiss. He hadn't even looked him in the eye, but had averted his gaze directly to the floor. He had looked somehow...sad? But could that be? Did he really mean it? He couldn't figure out the swordsman.

And what about himself? No, he didn't want to think about that at all. Of course, he didn't want the kiss, as if! Never would he enjoy a kiss with another man, especially not from that stupid moss head!

"SANJI! HUNGRY!" it resounded across the deck, abruptly snapping the blond chef out of his thoughts. He hadn't even noticed how late it had gotten, so engrossed was he in his thoughts. He quickly stubbed out his cigarette and headed for the galley to prepare dinner for the crew.

"Say, where's our swordsman?" asked Brook to the group as the entire crew, with the exception of a certain green-haired member, sat down to dinner. Sanji had to admit that this question interested him just as much. Since the kiss, the swordsman had disappeared off the face of the earth, though of course he hadn't gone looking for him either. Did his absence have something to do with the kiss?

"I've been wondering about that, too. I haven't seen him since this afternoon. Actually, since he took off with you in such a huff, Sanji. What was that all about, huh?" the navigator now added, looking inquiringly at the blond chef. Caught off guard, he avoided her questioning gaze and almost choked on his food in shock.

"Cough, cough...Oh, stupid Marimo is always like that. You don't need to worry your pretty little head about him, Nami-chan. He's probably just training again and forgot about dinner," he waved it off, but noticed how the blood rushed to his cheeks when Nami's question made him remember the kiss again. He would take that secret to the grave, that much was certain!
