You got up and placed your hand on the door knob. "Fine. Only if you can catch me though!" You opened the door, bolted to the window, and jumped out, deploying your wind glider and soaring over the streets of Sumeru City, silently praying nobody looked up and saw that you hadn't been wearing shorts under your skirt.

"Damnit (Y/N)!" Alhaitham yelled after you, soon following you out the door, but instead of using his glider, he fell to the roofs of the houses below, sprinting towards about where you would land.

You laughed to yourself as you glided away, watching him stumble to turn around. You let yourself drop to a nearby roof and started running off.

Once he was out of sight from your glances back, you turned around and started running home, only to hit him turning around a corner. Slamming into his chest was like hitting a brick wall, but you brushed it off and tried to run past him, but he grabbed your waist and hauled you into his shoulder.

"Got you." He murmured into your ear as he started carrying you home.

It only then occurred to you that you were in public, and people were staring.

Including some of your good friends. Friends like Nilou and Lumine.

"(Y/N)? What is going on?" Lumine asked, worried. "You didn't do anything illegal, did you??"

"If she did something illegal it would be Cyno on her case. Not Alhaitham."

"Oh, right."

"Sorry guys, no time to explain. I'm in deep shit right now." You shot them a terribly faked smile, only worrying them more.

"Um, ok then." Lumine said as Alhaitham walked off with you. "You think she's gonna be alright?" She asked Nilou.

"Had you not heard? They're together. She probably messed with him too much..."

"WHAT!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT!?"

"Nothing."

You felt one of Alhaitham's hands leave your thigh as he unlocked the door. "Kaveh you better not be home right now. I'm not looking for an interruption anytime soon."

"Uhm, rude. But why do you not want to be inter-" Kaveh stopped speaking, seeing you on Alhaitham's shoulder. "Uh, yknow what, I think I had plans for the next few hours anyway." He blushed as he pushed past you two and left.

You heard a familiar "Hm." as Alhaitham smirked.

"You had better apologize to him la- HM! " You sentence was cut off by a sharp slap to your ass, and "Shush."

"Hmph, fine." You pouted, making sure to dig your elbow in his shoulder as you rest your chin on your hand while he ascended the stairs to your shared room.

Minutes later, you were tied rather tightly to the bed frame, your wrists and ankles being rubbed raw by the slightly frayed ropes. Your clothes had been tossed to some corner of the room. But you weren't focused on that. All you could focus on now was how Alhaitham looked without his shirt on.
