Akira POV

after school i immediately called dad and told him that practice starts in a few minutes. "sure, i'll be there!" he said as he ended the call. 'alright! just act cool' i said in my mind as i met up with the team. "hello guys" i said as i waved at them with a smile, suddenly they all surrounded me. "are you related to the miya twins?!" mija asked (Mija is one of the strikers on the team) and then the questions kept coming. "GET BACK TO PRACTICE!!" i heard a guy voice shout. i looked and saw my dad there. all the girls looked shocked to see... "SOUMA MIYA?!?!?!?!" all the girls shouted. "yeah yeah that's my name, don't wear it out." dad said with an annoyed look. "wait.. miya-chan is this the guy that trained you?" Mija asked me. "yes, he is... he's also my dad.." i said with an akward smile. "WHAT" the girls said as they turned to look at him and then back at me. 

"Alright! get your asses here!" he said after he signed alot of papers. when everyone was around him, he said "i want you to run the whole field." dad said as he  crossed his arms over his chest. "HUH?!" all the girls said except for me. "heh, welcome to my life girls" i said with a fake smile on my face. "how can you deal with this man?" Mija Asked me. "well i grew up with him so..." "right.. right.." "HEY no talking!" dad shouted at me and Mija. "heh.. gotta dash!" i said as i ran faster then anyone else on the team, everyone was impressed including my dad. when i got to him he patted mig head and said, "good job, i'm impressed" i was shocked to hear him say that. "arigato.. oto-san" (thanks.. dad) i said as i looked up at him with a small smile. 

"alright! time to go home!" dad said as the practice came to an end. "great work! i expect you to work this well tomorrow! " dad said as he crossed his arms over his chest. "hai!" the whole team said with a bright smile on their faces and bowed to him. "make sure to get as much rest as needed and eat well!" dad said again. "hai!" everyone said as they left to go to the locker rooms. "Akira" i heard a voice say as i was about to walk to the locker room. "hai?" i said in a questioning voice. "good job out there" my dad never really praised me but when he did i felt really good, maybe thats why he never compliments me. but then again dad looks like the twins so it hurts to see him almost everyday. "arigato.." (thanks..) i said as i turned away from him and walked away but stopped when he called out for me. "i'll meet you at the car?" he said with a small smile. "hai!" i said with a confident smile. 

when i got into the locker room i was stopped by Mija, my best friend from the soccer team. "how's it like?!" she asked with excitement in her voice. "how's what?" i looked at her confused. "oh you know.. living with Miya-san!" she said as she looked at me like i was dumb. "oh yeah... well it's kinda rough but always fun!" i said with a small smile. "oh.. ok! well i gotta get home so i'll cya tmrw?" she said as she walked away. "always! bye Mija-san" i said as i walked to my locker and Mija left the locker room.

when i got to dad's car i opened the door and got in. "so what's bothering ya pumpkin?" he asked when i had put my bag in the back seat. "hm? oh nothing" i said as i looked out the window. "somethings clearly bothering ya, pumpkin" he said as he started the car engine. "if ya don't tell me, i might send Eugene to come get ya" he said as i froze in my seat. "please don't sen Eugene to come get me please!" i said as i turned to him. "well ya better hurry up and tell me, because he said he would call after ya practice were done" he said as the phone rang. i looked at his phone horrified. "fine fine i'll tell ya!" i said as he hung up and texted Eugene. 

"so what's up, Akira?" he asked as he turned of the car engine. "it's just... i miss Samu and Tsumu.." i said as i got out of the car waiting for dad but he looked like he was frozen. after a few minutes he got out and said, "well do ya wanna visit them in hyogo, this summer?" Dad asked making me shocked. "we can do that?!" i said with excitement in my voice. "of course we can pumpkin!" he said as he messed up my hair. thanks tou-san.." i said with a small smile as i hugged him. "no worries.. but i thought you and the twins ended up on bad terms?" he asked as he let go of me. "..." i was quiet for a second before asnwering, "well yeah... but i wanna be able to see them and i hope they've grown up now.." i said as i walked inside and headed straight for my room.
