☜ Chapter 5 ☞

I sit on my bed contemplating on what I am going to say or do at this meeting tomorrow. I pull out my book from the drawer sitting back against the headboard opening to the page I left off at the other night and start reading. getting lost in the book I read for what felt like an hour maybe two before marking off my spot and laying down completely reaching over and shutting off my lamp and pulling up my covers up to my face, closing my eyes softly falling asleep.

Come next morning I'm abruptly awoken by Carmina bursting into my room yelling at me to get up so we can plan for the day and have some time together. "C you sound like I'm leaving for forever and you need to spend time with me before I do" I look at her then look at the clock that is prompt on my night stand reading it '6:34am'. I sigh pulling up the covers more trying to hide my face so I can go back to sleep.

"Raelynn please get your lazy ass up I have so much stuff we need to do plus your gonna be busy later and I need your help on picking some outfits for when I have that date with that guy from school remember him" she looks at me pulling off the blanket making me exposed to the cold air and opens my curtains the bright light blinding my eyes making me squint and cover my face with my arms.

"why do you have to do this to me this early in the morning, I have a meeting later and knowing father the Mexican cartel doesn't know that it is me coming so they will put up a fight and I need all the energy I can get just in case I have to fight someone. Since your the princess and cant handle the work me and father can." I groan swinging my legs over the bed and stretch my back and arms getting  off my bed.

"I'm sorry that I rather save people then kill them or even threaten their life. You're just like father you like the aggression and being two faced where you can be sweet and then you can be a total cunt the next. Which no offense but is really irritating. but please get dressed look somewhat decent, and meet downstairs into the kitchen so your grumpy ass can eat before we start our day." she sighs and walks off closing my door leaving me standing beside my bed groggily annoyed at the presence of me being awake before 9am.

after having a shower and getting ready for the day I put on some grey joggers and a light blue sweatshirt sliding my socks over my feet walking to my vanity and sitting down grabbing my brush and softly brushing my hair getting all the knots out before putting into a high ponytail and setting the brush down and standing up grabbing my Nike runners and walking out of my room and down to the kitchen meeting up with Carmina.

"what are you making  me for breakfast since you wanted to wake me up at 6:30 in the morning." I laugh and set my shoes down and lean against the counter and watch her scramble around the kitchen a little paranoid.

"C what is wrong with you? you are so out of it acting like I'm leaving and never coming back. I have a meeting at three but ill be back you know I can put up a fight and be back home in less then an hour you don't have to worry I'm not leaving you." I remark trying to calm her down and or at least reassure her that everything will be alright even if it isn't.

Father told me the plan of whats happening tomorrow the Metallo's are taking Raelynn my sister my rock the only person who let me be who I wanted to be. I will admit I didn't want her to go but I know she has to do this she has to make an alliance with the Italian mafia with ours so there isn't a rebellion and but it doesn't make it any better that this will and or might be the last time I see her.

I couldn't sleep at all last night, I watched as my clock on my softly painted light pink wall ticked, 9:45, 9:46..9:47..9:48..9:49.. It never stopped it just kept ticking the more I paid attention the more it got louder and the more it got slower. I sat up and turned on my light and started planning something for me and Rae to do since this would be my last time seeing her if not ever.

I choke my own saliva down as I watch the time deciding to take a shower and walk around my room soon sitting on my floor laying down closing my eyes and soon falling asleep. waking up 5 hours later the clock glowing 5:26am I sigh and wipe my eyes walking to my bathroom and starting my shower.

Once everything was finished I get dressed and go wake up Raelynn knowing she would kill me for waking her up this early in the morning. I smile open her door and watch her sleep for a few seconds before yelling at her to wake up "GET YOUR ASS UP WE HAVE THINGS DO TO THINGS TO SEE LETS GOOOOOO!!!" I laugh and watch her "C you sound like I'm leaving for forever and you need to spend time with me before I do" watching her look at me then at her alarm clock.

I sit on the counter and look at the maid asking her to make Raelynn's favourite breakfast meal whilst waiting for her to come down stairs.
